🦋 Karma Butterfly 🦋I loved being a kid and still look back with fondness at the simpler times. For me, toys were a staple of what made it great at times. Here are some of my favorites:
Beanie babies, of course (like any stereotypical 90's kid):
Razor scooters (literally every friend I had owned one!):
This specific LEGO Bionicle figure (His name is Kopaka. Glad you asked! ):
Gameboy Advance SP (the cobalt blue style was my 2003 Christmas gift):
and so many more, but I have to stop somewhere!
Also, I remember always wanting one of these (but never did get one ) and was convinced we had arrived at "future times" when these robo-pups were advertised:
Tell me your favorites!

also liked Polly Pockets, Bakugans and Webkinz (I lived on Webkinz World…may it rip)

Ooof that razor scooter was pretty dabomb back then! And Bionicles! Well I don't have it but I remember loving the story of it.
The Gameboy though, now that's a whole new expansion for me. I remember being mad craze about it wanting to play Pokémon!
But if you ask my fave go-to toys back then, that'll be HotWheels and Digivice! Bruh, I created a whole course just to play those cars with plots! And the Digivice? As an avid Digimon lover I had to had at least a model of it and play with poopoo Agumon!

I grew up with my grandparents a lot of the time so there was seldom money for new toys. I did get my fair share of Matchbox and Hot Wheels cars. My grandparents lived in a neighborhood full of old people who I would do things for. They used to say go in the garage and scrounge around my kids old toys and take something if you like it. I used to have a lot of Erector mechanical sets that I liked to build stuff with. Unfortunately it all disappeared in a move. This is Erector stuff. Terrible name cool toy.
Also had and still have a whole lot of 70s/80s Star Wars figures and vehicles that I got from a sweet lady whose son was unfortunately taken far too early. Fun for me because I love the film series an awful lot.

My Nintendo DS Lite!
We got it quite late, at the end of the hype and a few years before the DSi released.
We begged our parents for so long to get one

Hot wheels cars, beyblades, lego, and i had a like year long obsession with these marble run things.
Then I was introduced to games consoles, and my days of toys practically ended.

Other than games consoles and random games online, I used to love playing with Tamagotchis - it was a huge thing back in the day to the point they got banned in my school

As someone who grew up with brothers I have vivid memories of all of these bionicle figures and those tube containers they came in. My brothers loved them. This specific LEGO Bionicle figure (His name is Kopaka. Glad you asked! ):
I also still have flashbacks of my ankles getting wrecked by those razor scooters
I was a simple girl growing up. I had a big tub of Polly pockets I loved to play with.
I also had some American girl dolls

I was always big on dolls (all kinds tbh) but one of my all-time favorite toys was this skip-it thing
I took one to the ankle once when I first got it, and I'd say the pain was a good 2nd place to the pain of a razor scooter to the ankle...I was convinced I shattered my ankle bone but my friends and I would always play with these things at recess
