Dance Philosophy is a Japanese parallell to Mamamoo or BEG, 4-member groups with a mature appeal, good singing ability and a sexy member (Mariri, Hwasa, Ga-In).
A group like After School is like half of jpop girl groups with their rotating line up. The most obvious comparison is Morning Musume but the sound and longevity are different.
NCT is also similar to AKB48 with a large super group with sister/brother groups and subunits and rotating lineups.
Roo'ra and Mihimaru GT - solid female singer and questionable male rapper.
APINK and Ebichu, both groups started out with cute songs but moved into more 'serious' songs recently and are known to have good singers.
Actually I don't know these groups very well but maybe Idol School and Last Idol since they're both from survival shows. Yes I'm running dry over here.
Bolbbalgan4 and Shishamo, their sounds are nothing alike but their lead singers/front women both have a similar vibe to me.

After-school comes directly from Morning Musume. They actually have a song called Dream Girls where they covered Love Machine.
I definitely see Dance no Philosophy for Mamamoo and similar groups!
