I am kind of fascinated with all things genealogy.

But I was told and also found out myself.
to date.

It's a mix of

British/England, Scotland and Wales
Southern China
Vietnam
South East Asia

Mum being the Asian
and Dad being the white European

What are your backgrounds? Even if you don't know all. Some is ok too.

I mostly took a dna test, because I thought stories by my grandmother wasn't enough for me, but that's just my opinion.

I have Indigenous Australian as well. But it's really distantly related. IDK if you've heard of King Bungaree, but I am related to him.
All my immediate relatives were from Sydney, NSW, as well as Redfern, where there are Aboriginal Australian communities.

My step mother is from there. My half siblings have 5 names even. a first, two middle names and two surnames. each.

Yep. It really is. A lot of people assumed I was Aboriginal growing up as well.
I identify as Eurasian heritage wise. Otherwise just Australian Asian.

• Tong Yod for wealth and prosperity.

I just found out thong yot or tong yod is the name of my Thai mother's mum.
Over the phone today. Named after a famous dessert which is said to give blessings so cool and different.

I learned English just from school and exposure to American media.

I still believe to this day my British English ancestry, is intertwined with German and French possibly.
Been so many modification on my dna test. : /

South Asian. Specifically Sri lankan. But my dad's grandfather was from Yemen. And my mom has Lebanese roots. That's all the ones I know. There might be others too but idk them.
