I was right-handed for most of my life and still had that problem.

I would say being right-handed for most of my life and now learning how to use the left for certain things is not easy.
Scissors use is especially difficult for me.

Not left-handed: I don't know if it's just in my country but left-handed people are known to have ugly handwriting.
+ I think currently things changed but when I was an elementary student, the desks were designed for right-handed.
