Which food is worth making yourself rather than buying it?

Pizza definitely.
Roast chicken because the rotisserie chicken they sell is usually dry. I do it till it almost is read to fall offthe bone.

Chicken breast. Although chicken breast tend to be dry, the way I make it, it can still retain the juice and the flavor. And since I eat almost chicken breast daily, yeah.

almost any type of pasta dish tbh

unless you're lucky and find a reasonably priced local place, almost any average chain restaurant's pasta will suck and any higher-end restaurant's pasta is obviously quite expensive

There's some places that are selling what is essentially glorified spaghetti and a few veggies with a fancy name for sometimes x3 the price of what I could purchase and make for myself.

I’m polish, and I hate frozen store bought pierogi. It’s 10x better when you just make it yourself.
