NuguI used to see the full music shows many years ago, now it's boring, the vast majority are groups that nobody knows and nobody goes to see the whole program for them. Music shows became lowkey.

First two weeks I will watch most of WJSN comeback music shows. I like the Show, Mcountdown and Inkigayo, I'm not a fan of Show Champion because they constantly bait you into thinking they are announcing the winner and then its like coming up! lmao They are also the ones that don't show the numbers. For just performances I like Mcountdown the most.
Here's what I think about the music shows after a couple years following it.
The Show - best shot for new groups looking for 1st win Many times this award will be hotly contested among lesser known groups
Show Champion - Similar to the Show and Mcountdown however doesn't show results
M!Countdown - Imo usually best stages and production are on Mcountdown
Music Core - Kind of like music bank
Music Bank - there is no limit to amount of times a group can win this in a row unlike most of the others where 3 times is most
Inkigayo - The most respected Music Show, impossible to win for Kpop groups who don't chart
Music core Music Bank and Inkigayo are for the Digimons

Thank you for your detailed reply. It makes it easier to understand.
I'll watch them more. I like the atmosphere on these shows too.
I was wondering how Dynamite was still up for a win on Music Bank, but that explains it

Yeah no problem its pretty confusing at first tbh lol, also the shows happen weekly tuesday through sunday. They all have a little different rules and % so they don't always have same results or make sense lolThank you for your detailed reply. It makes it easier to understand.

Thanks again for all the info
I've watched Inkigayo a few times in the past. (I can watch it on Viki, but where can you watch the other ones in full?)
The thing that strikes you straightaway is how many groups/performers there are you've never heard of! There are just so many acts in Kpop that never really get anywhere.

I like watching Inkigayo because I feel like they always have the best camerawork when it comes to my bias group
Their most interesting stages are always there. The stage settings are pretty and you can see the camera crew did their homework and knows how the choreo goes and the best way to get each shot. Maybe it's cause Jaehyun is a current MC on Inkigayo but they really seem to give NCT the best treatment out of all the music shows, I always look forward to it

It's even worse when watching an episode that is a few years old, because then you know that the names you don't know never made it, while the nugu ones that are current at least have a (slim) chance.
I only watch got7 performances
Baymax
