honestly, if you did that you might not even get in trouble for it. I've heard that because it's so uncommon there (most people abuse the a-ok legal drugs of alcohol and nicotine, or illegal adderall), koreans (including cops) don't even know what it smells like, such that you could walk down the street with a lit joint and no one would stop you
but if you were caught, as a foreigner they'd ban you from reentry and force you to leave immediately

Nah for sure, I had a friend who was practically chain smoking weed when he went to Korea and Japan, and theres actually a fairly decent sized weed culture there with how demonized it is.


But man would I love to give a symbolic f u to how backwards Korean society is.

Since he became and idol it seems he didnt do anything so they just keep digging up things from his past. If he had done anything since debuting I'm sure they would have posted about it by now, so seeing as they have nothing new they're living in the past. They're clearly set out to ruin him.
