Your favorite 2019 debuts so far?

Now that we're almost in August 2019, what debuts have stood out to you so far this year?

For me, I've really loved:

1. ITZY



They've been anticipated for quite a while and their debut was great! Not gonna lie, I was very disappointed with only 2 songs and the lack of activities they were doing, but I still fell in love with them quickly. Luckily, this next comeback is with a mini album and they're already getting a lot of schedules, so it's safe to say JYP was likely just testing the waters before. I have high hopes for their future and can't wait to watch them grow even more!

2. Cherry Bullet



Their video game concept is really cute and well done, in my opinion, and Q&A was just That Song - I think I've probably played it about 1000 times since its release. I don't follow them super closely, but I hope they can release a mini album for their next comeback so we can really get to know their sound. Their dance covers are also pretty amazing:



3. EVERGLOW



I don't follow them super closely either and they also don't have many songs released yet, but Bon Bon Chocolat has been another song in my most-played since its release...it's just so catchy. I really anticipate their next comeback and I'm hoping for another high quality bop from these girls.​

Cherry Bullet. Q&A was such a solid debut and Really Really is a top 5 gg title track this year. I also really liked Onlyoneof's Time Leap.

Everglow was the most musically interesting for me even tho I'm not a huge fan of the debut song.

Guys: CIX but I liked TXT and AB6IX's debuts a lot as well
Girls: I liked Everglow's song and MV but I don't know that much about the group

Definitely TXT! Crown was such a bop (and the entire album was flawless). Looking forward to their comeback!

Been waiting for the chinese unit to debut since i heard it was being planned. Members like Ten, Winwin, and Lucas made me incredibly hyped for it. Now they’ve debuted and I’ve fallen for all the other members very quickly, especially XiaoJun! Also happy that winwin can be in a unit where he gets a bit more attention from a promotional standpoint

Honestly wasn’t expecting Baejin’s group to be one of the best out of the year for me, as i never really cared much about him in W1. But the song stomps and the album it comes with isn’t too bad either and his group’s song is one of the few I like from the W1 members post-disbandment

Everglow


I actually don’t really care too much for Bon Bon Chocolate, it’s not bad just not quite my tastes. I checked into them cause i liked Yiren and Sihyeon and eventually fell for Aisha too. I love the vibe the group is going for and i hope they comeback with a mini

Itzy


I didn’t like Dalla Dalla when it dropped and up to this point I can only listen to the chorus, but I’ve fallen for half of the members now and that’s enough for me to casually follow, even if I don’t care for their musical direction ( I hope i like their upcoming song tho)​
