maybe is different in Japan but in my opinion this was an overreaction from their label

semi offtopic but just some weeks after this happened a member from Mameshiba No Taigun also got into a drinking scandal (also at age 19)

they did the expected "i'm sorry, i'm reflecting in my actions" apology too but instead of kicking her out they released a music video reenacting those pictures and just taking the piss of the situation

no wonder why when i was checking ZOC videos i was always getting this group into my recommendations




is good too see that she is also doing her own thing

i don't know much about the zoc members but is nice that the new girl has been working with the group for a while, she is going to fit well in the group

i only knew of the drinking scandal so i though it was her... on the other hand that they came back from all this is kind of amazing
fans of alternative idols being more supportive definitely seems to be a thing

You do have to have kind of an appetite for chaos as an alt idol fan, so they're more tolerant of messes like this one. The ZOC members also came in with existing fanbases, so I would hope they knew what they were in for. avex is certainly no stranger to the scene so that's probably why they were able to get signed so quickly after their management company dropped them.
