Philippians 4:11-13Codenames
Cardcaptor Sakura has accidentally released a set of magical cards into the world and now she is on a mission to retrieve the cards to prevent any potential disaster. Would you help her?
How to Play
The objective of the game is to be the team to capture all of their team’s cards first while avoiding the deadly Assassin card.
Players are RNG’d into two teams. The team that goes first, as determined by RNG, has 9 cards to uncover while the other team has 8.
The game is played in 3 rounds.
In each round, both teams choose one of their members to be their Cardcaptor. They may change their Cardcaptor each round or keep it the same.
At the beginning of the round, 25 word-cards are laid out in the thread in a 5 by 5 grid; 9 of them belong to the starting team, 8 belong to the other team, 7 of them are “Bystanders,” while 1 of them is “The Assassin.”
Only the Cardcaptors are aware of the exact layout of the grid (i.e. they know which words belong to which team, are Bystanders, or is The Assassin card).
In their turn, the Cardcaptor may only give out a single word as a clue and a number; the word is what the clue is and should focus on the cards that belong to their team, while the number is for how many cards this clue alludes to. For example, if two of their cards are cat and dog, the Cardcaptor might say “animal, 2.” The Cardcaptor may use 0 to indicate that “this clue applies to none of our cards.” They may also say “unlimited.” In either case, their teammates are allowed unlimited guesses. The disadvantage is that their teammates won’t know how many words relate to the clue that was just given.
Once the clue and number are given, the team members then attempt to guess which cards correspond to the present or previous clue(s) given. Once the members decide on a card, they may guess by bolding the word listed on the chosen card in the thread.
If their card is correctly revealed, then that team has guessed correctly and may guess again. They may guess up to the number given by the Cardcaptor but may always add one extra guess. They may also decide to not continue guessing and pass the turn.
If the other team’s card is revealed instead, then their turn ends, and that card is revealed for the other team.
If a Bystander card is revealed then their turn is also passed.
If The Assassin card is revealed then that team loses instantly.
A team wins a round by having all of their team’s cards uncovered before the other team, or if the opposing team ever guesses The Assassin card accidentally.
The first team to win 2 out of 3 rounds wins the game.
Rules
As the Cardcaptor:
You have 3 minutes to give out clues. The clue must be bolded and posted in the thread.
You may not say anything else other than giving out clues when prompted.
The clue must describe the meaning of the word(s) you’re trying to hint at and not the structure, spelling, or sound of the word. For example, it cannot be “foot” to hint “football”, "s" to hint "see," or “tell” to hint “cell.” It must also be in English only.
The number is used only to tell the guessers how many words your clue refers to, and cannot also be a part of the clue.
If the clue violates these rules, your turn is passed.
As a guesser:
You may discuss among yourselves, but please note that only 3 minutes are given for each guess attempt. If time is up without any guessing, your turn is passed.
Guesses must be bolded and posted in the thread. The first bolded guess is final.
General:
Please keep talking to a minimum when it’s not your team’s turn.
Please have good sportsmanship and do not cheat; this includes, but is not limited to, colluding with other players and/or playing against your win conditions.
No communication outside of the gameplay thread.
Have fun and be nice.
All other H+ rules apply.

I'm going to try to simplify the game in layman's terms
There will be two teams: Red and Blue. Both teams choose a member of theirs to be the "cardcaptor" in charge of giving hints.
First, this grid will be posted in the thread:
Then the "cardcaptors" of both teams will be sent something like the below via PM so they know which words belong to which group. If they're the blue team, they'll try to hint their teammates the words that correspond with the blue squares and vice versa. The yellow squares are nothing a.k.a "Bystanders." The black square is "the Assasin" that both teams must avoid.
Say, the Red team goes first and the cardcaptor of the red team wants to hint at the word "Fork," they might say something like "Utensil, 1" (the number means they want to say that their hint applies to just one card on the grid). But say, if they wanna hint at the words "Snow" and "Snowman," they might say "Cold, 2." But they must be careful with their clue since you can see that the word "Ice Cream" corresponds with the Black grid, so their teammates could potentially misunderstand Cold as alluding to Ice Cream, and guess "Ice Cream" aka the deadly card.
