We’re at the point where a lot of 4th gen groups are hitting the 7 year mark and in contract renewals, so I think we’re either in 5th gen already or entering 5th gen soon.

Calling groups 6th gen already is crazy though

I wouldn’t put LSF in my top 5 but I gotta say they are somehow my most listened to 4th (??) gen girl group. They are always in my shuffle on Spotify and I gotta say all of their songs are very easy to listen to if it makes sense? Like I never feel the urge to skip it.

We’re at the point where a lot of 4th gen groups are hitting the 7 year mark and in contract renewals, so I think we’re either in 5th gen already or entering 5th gen soon.

If 7 years is the time frame you use then gen2 ended in 2014 and gen3 in 2021. So 2028. We are mid gen4 at best.

For me, there are .5 generations too: like f(x) is 2.5, there are "4th Gen" groups that I consider 3.5, same with "5th Gen".
So for me 5th gen is just starting so I don't have a favorite group.
4th Gen: aespa. I don't have a top 5. I like songs from KOF, TripleS, MEOVV, Babymoster, Rescene, but I wouldn't say I'm a total fan like I'm with aespa.

Le Sserafim is good. Music is hit or miss. But Godwon carries HARD.

Rescene has the best songs of the new batch of idols

Limelight and Madein were great but current scandal makes them just....
