So it wasn't until Episode Six for Kaohsiung that we finally started cooking
We got the confirmation of the Hyunlix Hotpot date and I DON'T EVEN CARE THAT IT'S ONLY FOUR SECONDS OF FOOTAGE, IT'S A CONFIRMED DATE
Never forget Hyunlix just BEING on a date in Taiwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan
And the way this is, ironically, the FIRST TIME in this series that we actually see Hyunlix eating together. And it's four seconds on their date
It's like.....it's only furthering the conspiracy theory at this point.
Because these two, who we just can't seem to find backstage in ANY other context, are getting flashed on screen for four seconds wherein we can see them watching something together on Hyunjin's phone and sitting like they could not care less about the concept of personal space.
When NO ONE ELSE is sitting so close like this AND for Changbin to then share with us that only Hyunlix ate alone at the table together because everyone else moved "to save space"

Once again, they don't say anything to each other in this scene, but this in and of itself feels like it's really just furthering the narrative that these two are never shown backstage together because they're probably doing couple stuff.
ANYWAY after this, we got THE FIRST actual scene of Hyunlix speaking to each other
SIX EPISODES IN but we made it happen, people!!!!
Anyway, this was obviously for the Behind shooting of their cutesy, couple Tik Tok
And you know, humorously, they BARELY look at each other in this scene either.
It's very bizarre just how little they look directly at each other, you would think they'd start making out any second the second their eyeballs are honed in towards each other the way they just look straight ahead the whole time.
Anyway, I guess I'll mention we also saw this even though we already knew about this photo because why not?
SOOOOOO anyway, it took SIX episodes before we got: Hyunlix on a date (really just eating together at all
) and Hyunlix speaking to each other. You would AT LEAST have thought the latter would have come up once by now.
Like THESE TWO ARE GOING ON DATES TOGETHER AND THE OTHER MEMBERS LEAVE THEM ALONE FOR SAID DATE. THEY SIT WITH THEIR ARMS GLUED TOGETHER. And we can't usually get but clips of them just existing next to each other??? And I'm supposed to believe something isn't up????
Episode Seven was basically the same as Episode Six in that we got Hyunlix interacting backstage
Following their usual of standing like personal space is not a concept but you ain't gonna get them to look directly at each other.
Still, it was a 46 second scene, so it was MARVELOUS
We're getting our last stage prayers answered at this point
There were a couple other Hyunlix spottings in this episode, too
But nothing of note really occurs other than them just hovering around each other, we we'll move on~
Episode Eight was Bangkok was pretty much back to the usual, "they're next to each other"
Which, we had been getting a lot more Hyunlix than usual, so we can't complain~ I'm frankly appreciating the crumb at this point.
Jakarta in Episode Nine was the same flavor of quietly glued together Hyunlix.
Hyunlix together but talking to everyone else instead of each other
And arguably this scene where Han interviews Hyunjin and Felix back-to-back and after Hyunjin's is finished, you can see him go sit on a chair or couch near Felix but not sit directly next to him
But that's about it for Jakarta. So it was by this point that I was really just convinced that they HAVE to be intentionally not showing Hyunlix together.
I'm sorry, but when you know just how glued together these two are at concerts, at the Fanmeet, at the airport; EVERY other context besides this show and SKZ CODE, it looks BEYOND questionable how there are just so few scenes of these two interacting. And every scene where they are interacting, they make almost no eye contact and they hardly speak directly to each other.
There's so many scenes of both of them interacting with other members fairly consistently. Even if you argue its overall a pretty even number of scenes, there is not nearly the same level of Hyunjin and Felix not looking at the person or not talking directly to them. Or just sitting there and not saying anything to the person seated next to them. This seems to happen exclusively between their interactions.
And in Hong Kong Episode 10, we found out why
I mean, they really have it all in this one.
They look directly at each other while having a conversation for what feels like the actual first time in all ten episodes. And it's a whole 34 seconds long, first scene this long since Macau.
But like....we just should address the elephant in the room that is THIS CLIP IS JUST FELIX USING A SCALP MASSAGE AS AN EXCUSE TO HAVE HYUNJIN MOANING ON LIVE TELEVISION
There is NO FXXKING REASON why THIS
Should be happening at all but it just IS because Felix wants it to happen
They let Hyunjin get away with TWO MOANS on camera before the manager told them to cut this shit out and Felix had the unmitigated GALL to look upset about him stopping the massage
And it all became VERY clear to me why we never see their backstage scenes in TALKER. After NINE episodes of just existing around each other, lingering in the same areas but not interacting directly, talking to everyone in their space except each other, by now, I'm convinced the moments from the concerts are the safest actual footage to show.
BECAUSE IF THIS IS THE NORM WHEN IT COMES TO WHAT THEY GET UP TO BACKSTAGE, I CANNOT EVEN BE MAD THEY WON'T AIR IT
I have legitimately still not recovered from the LUNACY that was that scalp massage and the fact that it somehow, by the grace of God, was not footage lost to the void. THIS was the one they were fine with airing.
They can't show us their Hotpot date, fair. They can't show us whatever was going on in Australia, fine. They can't have them sit down next to each other and make eye contact. Okay??? BUT HYUNJIN MOANING "OH, OH YES," BECAUSE OF FELIX IS PERFECTLY FINE.
I feel like I was going to try to wrap this up with some grand conclusion but it doesn't even seem necessary anymore.
I mean, this seems to just blatantly confirm every Hyunlixer who conspires that the reason we never get Hyunlix scenes being because they're too NSFW is correct.
The SINGLE time we actually get a real interaction between Hyunjin and Felix acting natural, just the two of them, Felix is telling us he's the only one who gets to touch Hyunjin's hair and making Hyunjin moan and Hyunjin seems to have no problem or disagreement with any of this
I am not expecting to see any Hyunlix footage in upcoming TALKERs for at least a while. We probably won't be seeing any TALKERs for a while anyway. The Tour is resuming this month and won't be over till nearly the end of Summer. They didn't start airing this until the Asia leg was over, so I assume it'll be a minute before we see TALKER GOs like this. But EVEN if it wasn't, I doubt Hyunlix will sneak in. Even their usual brand of "we're just casually and harmlessly sitting next to each other" probably won't cut it because of how insane the Hong Kong massage was
I would not be surprised if they nuke every instance of Hyunjin ad Felix on cam together prematurely in fear of what it MIGHT be for the first five episodes of whenever TALKER GO resumes

OK anyways, I'll do that TALKER thing because I been thinking on that back and forth for a while and it just really is a little bizarre 
think Felix is bi and maybe somewhere on the gender nonconforming to nonbinary spectrum. Hyunjin confuses me. His music taste is
