Interesting interview.

I've always been fascinated about how Western media covers K-pop. They never truly understand it properly. They always want to see it in a certain way, which is from a Western style of critical appraisal. I mean, they tend it overstate some things and understand others. For example, this article's headline is that (G)I-dle write they own music, which in my view is a very loaded comment. Western media deep down despises "manufactured" groups. It's just not authentic enough. They also can't cope with the simple lyrics. I think it was BTS on Ellen show when she highlighted "you write songs about mental health" as if that makes them OK after all.

Sorry, I've gone a bit off-topic. I should say I do appreciate any English language interviews with (G)I-dle!
