Fantasio seems more like an actor agency than singer one. . Other idols in the agency are also going into acting.

Yeah at the beginning Fantagio was an acting focused agency but if I remember correctly they had a co-ed group with Pledis called Hello Venus just for the funs and did actually well? so after that they were like yolo and sent some of their trainees for Produce 101 season 1, they saw that some of them got attention and then decided to debut a boy group (ASTRO), after that they got lucky that people liked them and then debuted with Weki Meki with the members that got back from IOI and some other trainees.
Then our king Ong happened and got a lot of attention so they pushed ASTRO more and some of the Weki Meki members; they wanted to recreate the same effect with Gichan in the latest Produce season but they failed since boy wasnt trained at all
So basically Fantagio was only an acting agency but got lucky with some idols, decided that they should get a risk and debuted like two groups, and here we are lmao; but yeah they are still very new at doing and managing music stuff; most idols only get modeling/magazine stuff and acting
