I'm kind of confused on this post. It says they aquired High Up but then they stated they own only 40% of the shares. In order to aquire a company you need to control or own 50.1% of the shares. They may be the largest share holder and thus giving them the chairmanship of the board of directors but the other share holders can still out vote KakaoM if they group together. I'm wondering if it was mistranslated and should have said KakaoM has finalized the purchase of 40% of High Up stock making them the largest shareholder.
