*This thread was recreated with permission from the AT lead due to a new OP and the fandom wanting to start from scratch after a large amount of suggestions in the previous thread were not approved! Keepers and supporters are asked to please post again if they are still interested in keeping/supporting the badges. Previously submitted suggestions will need to be reposted after approval from the Awards Team! The Google Doc with the approved/needs adjustment/rejected badges from the previous thread can be found here!*
- No fantaken images - To protect the content creators rights, as well as ourselves, fantaken images are not allowed to be used as badges.
- Use HQ pictures - For quality purposes, the higher the quality, the better an image will look as a badge.
- No heavily edited images - The more edited, the worse the quality becomes overall.
- No extreme contrast, highlighted colours, or super light/dark images - They just don't look good when sized down.
- Face should be centered - For aesthetic purposes.
- Logos should only be used for groups and are not allowed for individuals in most cases - We understand some artists are very difficult to find pictures of and will deal with that on a case by case basis.
- Only screenshots from Music Videos, CFs and official content are allowed - If you're unsure what falls under this rule, please don't hesitate to ask on our ask thread.
- Profiles can be used as well as some object cover is allowed - Face coverage isn't totally ruled out, but the more you can see of the artist, the better. Profiles are OK if we can clearly tell who the artist is.
- Derp Faces/Exaggerated facial expressions/Unrecognizable - These will not be allowed, badges are not to be meme-like or something that is out of the ordinary/unpleasant such as frowning, crying, etc. We will also not be allowing badges that look weird and in which people look unrecognizable regardless of it being an official picture.
- Zooms - Any mocks found to be too zoomed in or zoomed out will need to be readjusted, as all badges must be able to resized down to 74x74 properly. In the event a mock does not pass crop standards, it will need to be readjusted until our quality standards are met.
- Pre-approval of badges - We ask that all OP’s submit their round 1 mocks for pre-approval of by an Awards member in the appropriate thread. This is to avoid badges of lower quality, bad lighting, etc, from making it to later rounds and dividing votes from other badges. That being said, we still reserve the right to veto any badge that we feel does not follow the rules by the final crop (this is especially relevant in crop rounds).
- Final submission - The Awards Team reserves the right to re-do a mock if we feel they are not in accordance to all the aforementioned rules.

SOME THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND:
- Suggestions are going to be limited to 3 max per user, per member (meaning you can suggest max 3 for Heejin, max 3 for Kim Lip, etc; but you cannot suggest 6 for Jinsoul, 9 for Chuu, etc)
- Following the above rule, please only suggest pictures that you truly like and actually would want as the member's badge...there's a very good chance that your suggestion may end up as the winner so please make them count!
- When the fandom was polled, the majority of the poll voters were fine with allowing photos from 2016-current, meaning older photos are acceptable as long as they meet badge guidelines.

here are a few super rough examples of what we might be able to come up with if we allow older photos for the members...
obviously they still need adjustments with the color correction, sharpening, crops, etc so they can meet the guidelines but i think the source photos are nice? they came from the LOONA1/3 innisfree/high cut photoshoot (early 2017, so a bit over 2 years old....)

| doesn't need older photos, but there are a lot of pretty ones that would make nice suggestions (innisfree, one of her solo pics that actually still looks a lot like her 2019 self for being 3 years old) | can definitely benefit from older photos - LOONA1/3's innisfree photoshoot and her love&evil teaser pic were standouts for me in my searching | they need to leave this poor girl's face ALONE omg...a lot of her pictures have weird editing going on in her face and a lot of the photos just look overly edited in general...? i'm gonna fight bbc's editors her xx teaser pic looks nice if it can be color corrected enough (might look too LQ though  ) | can definitely benefit from older photos, see above^^ |

| doesn't need older photos, her face has matured a lot anyways so it'd be kinda weird imo | doesn't need older photos, but her max&match pictures have good material if we're missing blonde lip (bc i lowkey am lmao) but i do like her 10star suggestions | ngl i kind of think we should wait for her sadly, as much as i want her badge she suffers the same face editing thing as haseul or a lot of her expressions look very angry which doesn't look great in badges imo | the purple hair badges are a #slay, but she has nice scans in her solo photobook and her OEC pics are also pretty nice |

| she lacks good material (imo) but her solo pictures have that weird face editing mess again (who at BBC is a 97 line anti i just want to talk.....) there's a few butterfly era photos that look pretty good though, we just need to find higher res versions and work on the color correction | a lot of material i saw for her looks awkward as badges or doesn't meet guidelines so we're probably better off sticking with butterfly era again for her too i really liked one of the scans from the xx photobook that was suggested in the previous thread for her | same as chuu, a lot of her material looks awkward or wouldn't meet guidelines due to filters/shadows/etc probably stick to butterfly era for her too, i liked a few pics from the 10star photoshoot if we can fix the coloring on them | probably stick to butterfly era too...? but one of her solo teasers looks nice to me (might even be her badge in OH, i'm blanking though) and there's a random yyxy photoshoot picture i liked for her |
