So what can I say for Kep1er's year ?

For the positive side :
  • They've sold over a million of albums, they are more popular in Japan
  • A lot of contents
  • Xiaoting getting attention at ISAC
  • All the members enjoying their time, their success. Yujin and Yeseo never experienced this level of success or fame. Mashiro and Chaehyun couldn't debut with JYP and with SM. Hikaru realized one of her dream. Youngeun came from a nugu label, was a backdancer for some K-pop groups, now she's shining. Xiaoting and Dayeon were on previous survival shows and didn't succeed until GP999 and Bahiyyih joined her older sister and her older brother as idols.
  • They'll be fine after the end of the contract
  • They got invited to end year festivals, not all of them but it's already good
  • 4 Music Show wins, 3 with WDD, 1 with Up
However on a less positive side :
  • Title tracks not as good as expected, Wa Da Da was okay, Up slighly better but Wing Wing and We Fresh didn't have better reactions. Sales kept decreasing each comeback. It seems like the label doesn't have an idea what to do with them, with what kind of concept to stick with.
  • Why send them on Queendom 2 ? After what they went through with GP999...
  • Akgaes or fandom issues, even one year after GP 999 and one year after Kep1er's debut. There's something wrong. Even for IZONE I didn't hear anything about this after some months but here...
  • Writers not knowing what to do for Kep1er's variety contents, they are still wondering what can suit them. The members are trying their best but it doesn't seems to work. They do have some shows were it's was fun to watch, maybe they need the correct concept or PD to find something who'll suit them.
  • Maybe a lack of vlive ? Maybe because they were too busy
Of course I'm more harsh on them, I followed them since GP999, I got invested.

They still have another year so I'll enjoy regardless

well said, they have a lot of contents indeed but none of them shows the real variety skill of the girls (too bad gor dayeon & hikaru)
and somehow i feels they're getting more like average gg, not so special anymore. i hope this new year they'll be back to where they belong as 4th gen top gg
