I am now officially a farmer; I got this game for Christmas!
Currently just playing co-op with my partner, once I get the hang of things I'll probably play solo

Can't wait to taste some Baymax grown apples

I didn't know how the calendar/time works and thought it was like January, Feb, etc... not 1 month of spring, summer, etc... and my crops have died

if you like, i recommend checking out the stardew wiki as a guide to see which crops belong to which season

If anyone was wondering - you can't blow up fruit trees with a bomb, but your sprinkler, recycler and lightning rod will disintegrate. Don't ask me how I know

What is your inventory setup

If there is anything else you always carry around that's not food feel free to add it~

Mine looks like this
Higher stats shoes don't go with my outfit and so I just carry them around and change them when going into the mine lol Same as exchanging my magnet ring for immunity band

If I can remember :

Galaxy Sword + Crusader enchant
Iridium Pickaxe
Iridium Hoe
Iridium Axe
Golden Scythe
I tried to get the Efficient enchant for my tools

Knight's Helmet
Mermaid Boots
Iridium Band x2 but I can change one ring depending on what I'll do

+ some foods to heal and bombs

hmm I dont really have a set up I usually just brought whatever I'm planning for the day
Like if it's a foraging day, then I just bring the pickaxe, scythe and axe, and on my fishing day, then I just brought my fishing rod and leave the rest of the inventory empty

I tried to do that at one point, but then I always forgot to equipped stuff back Nothing like going to the mines with just a fishing rod lol

It's been awhile, so I don't remember 100%, but... I think it usually went something like [Sword][Pickaxe][A Bajillion Torches][Hoe][Watering Can][Axe][Fishing Pole][A Small or Medium Bomb]... I always keep 1-2 gifts on hand to give to someone everyday as well

I tried so many times to get scorpion carps on my 1st farm, but the slimy bishes never even bit my bait, but on my first visit to the desert on my 2nd farm I did not get 1, but 2 of them with no problem! :Slime:
Stardew really doesn't want my 1st farm to be my 100% run

In the empty space on the left I have bajillion trees for now, but in the future I want to turn in into "100 crop in a season" fields I'm also far away from having this many kegs and crystal thingies lol

I don't really have an inspirations tbh, and I don't plan things out very far ahead. I prefer not having things too... overly laid out and maintained, I guess. I just like having little sections, open spaces, and a natural feeling.

Wow that's really nice! I might have to steal the idea of developing the farm at the bottom.

Forest farm is the prettiest

The fruit trees at the side... yes, yes... I am taking notes


It's annoying though because I'm currently playing co-op and when I was creating a farmer, my computer crashed so I created another farmer but the other farmer was still counted in the file so there's just a random house on our farm.


Other than that, I've started exploring the mines, and I'm having fun fighting the monsters

I think it's to "accidentally" set off bombs in that house

After exploring the mines for a bit, I'm now exploring friendships and relationships. Trying to decide who to marry now
