Yeah… I think weekend will be if or when I change jobs there are a few things that are good about having weekdays off like most restaurants only do lunch specials on weekdays

I tried watching IU’s new tangerine kdrama on Netflix and I’m on episode 5 but I think I’m dropping it.

It’s too confusing. The time skips confuse me. The people playing multiple characters in different time eras confuse me. I need more explanation on things.

I heard the translation subtitles are really bad which might be why I’m so confused, but even a little banner in the corner saying the year when there’s a time skip would have helped

Since I’m paying cash money for Netflix I thought might as well watch Iris solely because top is in it and I am deeply confused and have no idea what’s going on but at least at some point top is in this???

I also forgot how old this drama is. It’s weird seeing the frontman play a young college student.

I feel so bad for the 2nd male lead. Literally the first episode he falls for the female lead and tells the ML that he’s deeply in love and this is the woman he wants to marry and the ML just goes and kisses her and secretly dating her behind his back and it’s like BRO???

Maybe it’s different for bro code for for girl code if my friend and I liked the same person then neither of us should date that person (unless maybe that person confesses to one of us, then we need to have a discussion).

TOP is the villain but he’s also very handsome and I find him a bit comical as well (cause he literally just pops out of nowhere which I find hilarious) so 10/10 for him but 1/10 for the male lead for lack of morals.

His character (ML) technically met the FL first while he was in Uni and she was in Uni but I believe undercover as a student? He falls for her but she rejects him.

2nd ML meets the FL after that at some dinner thing while she’s under another identity (this is a secret spy show). 2nd ML falls for her at first site and goes home to the ML (they live together) all happy and giddy that he met the love of his life who he wants to marry

Both ML’s then join the spy organization and learn her real identity and the fact that dating is forbidden.

Despite this ML keeps hitting on FL who says again she’s not interested and can’t date him, but he kisses her anyway and she just magically returns his feelings after that??? And they date behind 2nd ML’s back and even go on a romantic Japan getaway together leaving the 2nd ML to do a mission alone

I’m just beyond pissed off because he knew how in love 2nd ML was in love with her and bro just gave zero fucks and went and dated her anyway.

This part is also just terrible writing I guess, but I also hate how the FL kept rejecting him but he just forcefully grabs her and kisses her anyway??? Like I know they wanted it to be romantic but it was giving red flag

yeah it’s not long ago but kdrama fans seem pretty forgiving of their actors/actresses.. that’s why i don’t interact with most kdrama fans

I feel like that’s why “Team Thanos” and its actors are so much more popular overseas than the main squid game cast. Everyone is aware how almost everyone in the main cast team has a scandal so they turned to the team with no scandals which is team thanos. (Western fans don’t think Top’s scandal is a scandal and want justice for him.)
