Episode 8: Iksan




In this episode:

-Yoshi wore an orange patterned sweater because he thinks he's a real tiger.

-Yoshi rode next to Haruto on the KTX train to Iksan and pretended he was a zombie from "Train to Busan" while eating his choco bbang. (They were across the aisle from Yedam and Haruto's roomie Junkyu.)

-Since Yoshi ate choco bbang, he ended up on Jeongwoo's team. (That was kind of colorist, YGE.)

-Jeongwoo took his group to a restaurant well-known for their Korean blood sausage and raw beef bibimbap, which Yoshi thoroughly enjoyed, since he loves meat.

-Next, Jeongwoo look them to a vintage clothing store, where Yoshi decided to dress as an extra from "Fiddler on the Roof."

-Then Jeongwoo took them to tour some historical buildings while wearing their snazzy outfits.

-Finally, everyone went to a roller skating rink to fall on their butts (maybe except for Doyoung) while Treasure's 'Going Crazy' performance film played on a wall.

I personally think the vintage vest with the velvet lapels Yoshi chose was a great find.

Episode 9: Variety Training





In this episode:

Treasure prepared a variety-training camp inside one of the YG Entertainment building #1 practice rooms. The first game they played was Mafia, then they moved on to Charades, and finally to 'Shout in Silence.'

-Yoshi was on the green team with Junkyu, Mashiho, and Haruto.
-During the Charades game, green team's keywords were all related to 'slang words' and during 'Shout in Silence,' their keywords were related to food.

YG’s Rookie Group TREASURE Reveal Teasers of Self-Composed Songs… Ears in Delight with Their Perfect Chemistry

[엑스포츠뉴스=이덕행 기자] YG’s rookie group TREASURE passionately working on creating music has been revealed. Some songs written by the members of TREASURE themselves have been revealed as well, pleasing the eyes and ears of fans.
On March 19 at 12 PM, YG Entertainment revealed ‘A 3 Minute TREASURE – Working on Music’ though their official blog and TREASURE’s official social media account.
The video showed members ASAHI, who’s shown great talent in song composition, and MASHIHO who’s known for his ‘great vocal tone’, recording a guide song. The two members gathered in the studio to create their self-written track, ‘Fantasy’(working title).
The song contains one’s reminiscence towards a past lover, which one can only see in their fantasy. It is a Ballad song in medium tempo, composed by ASAHI and co-written by ASAHI and HARUTO.
Prior to recording the song, ASAHI went up to MASHIHO, adjusted the mic, and checked the sound, showing his kindness. After the preparation was done, the members sincerely began recording the guide vocals.
As the two members have worked together for a very long time, they presented a ‘perfect chemistry’ by understanding each other through facial expressions and body language without even talking. Their passion towards music was felt by the viewers since they concentrated on working until both members were satisfied.
Songs composed by ASAHI other than ‘Fantasy’ were revealed as well, which made the viewers prick up their ears. The teased songs include ‘I Didn’t Know’(working title) sung by HARUTO and MASHIHO, known for their great low tone and soft vocals respectively, in addition to ‘SKYPIEA’(working title), written and sung by YOSHI.
TREASURE’s aspects as artists were presented as they let go of their beagle-like charms they’ve shown through reality programs for a while and sincerely focused on creating music. It showed the members’ musical talents and infinite possibilities which transcends genres.
On January, YG Entertainment officially announced TREASURE’s debut project and revealed, “Songs composed and written by the members themselves received favorable reviews within the agency. We will encourage and support the members so that they can actively participate in writing and composing songs”.
The members of TREASURE are currently showing endless passion in creating music, even during their hobby time. The short 3-minute clip was enough for the viewers to witness TREASURE’s improved musical capabilities. The fans’ expectations on TREASURE’s musical color and future works as producers they will show after making official debut have gotten even higher.
Meanwhile, TREASURE is consistently presenting their charms through programs such as ‘A 3 Minute TREASURE’, ‘TREASURE MAP’, ‘TMI’ which covers the behind stories of TREASURE’s official schedules’, and ‘Fact Check’ which solves the fans’ curiosities, to connect with their global fans.

Episode 10: Winter Break T-Log

-Yoshi went to the airport with Asahi since they were both flying home through KIX. In the taxi, Yoshi revealed that he was supposed to go to IKEA with Jihoon, Junkyu, Mashiho, and Asahi during the Episode 6 filming but he got a 'stomach bug.' Both Yoshi and Asahi then revealed that neither of them have bedrooms at home anymore because they were away for so long.

-At the airport Yoshi enjoyed some fish cake even though he was still recovering from the 'stomach bug.'

-Yoshi's mom showed up on screen for the first time (wearing a dusk mask) when she picked up Yoshi after he got off the metro.

-When Yoshi got home he was treated with gruel made by his mom topped off with pickled apricots made by his grandmother. Yoshi is really cute towards his mom and older sister, Masako. (His grandmother and Masako were not shown.)

-Yoshi went to a spa with his (un-named) friend he knew since 1st grade.
Yoshi proceeded to show the audience childhood pictures of him and his friend.

-He then took Masako's adorable dog Kerori out for a walk.
