‘Debut D-1’ YG TREASURE, The Teen Crush They’ll Present Through ‘BOY’.. “YG’s Big Budget” MV Teaser Revealed

[OSEN=김은애 기자] YG TREASURE’s MV for their debut song ‘BOY’ has finally unveiled, grabbing the eyes and ears of global music fans.
On August 6 at 9 AM, YG Entertainment revealed the MV teaser for ‘BOY’, TREASURE’s title song from their upcoming debut single album, through their official blog.
Although it was a short 29-second clip, TREASURE’s glamorous and fierce ‘Teen crush’ grabbed the people’s attention. In addition to the burning soccer ball and futsal stadium set, the members emitted passionate yet fresh charms with basketball courts and sports climbing sets as the background.

The strong beat and catchy sounds, which people assumed as the chorus of ‘BOY’, impressed the viewers while the lively camera angle presented a dynamic mood. Individual sets symbolizing the members’ individualities were also teased, raising anticipation on the full version.
TREASURE is YG’s major rookie group being presented in 4 years since BLACKPINK. They are receiving attention as the biggest rookies of K-Pop in 2020 as the next generation boy group that will follow BIGBANG, WINNER, and iKON.
Since they’ve targeted the global market from the beginning, YG is continuing their support. YG has previously revealed, “TREASURE’s debut song MV has used the biggest budget among all rookie artists from the agency”.

YG has also revealed the ‘D-1’ countdown poster presenting all members of TREASURE, notifying thie debut which is only a day ahead.
On August 7 at 4 PM, 2 hours prior to the release of their album, TREASURE will meet the fans through a V LIVE broadcast and share their special stories regarding the album and MV.
TREASURE’s first single album, ‘THE FIRST STEP : CHAPTER ONE’ will be released on August 7 at 6 PM, while the physical copies including the instrumental versions of songs will be available through YG SELECT and nationwide retailers online and offline starting from the 13th.
