We’d like to give you an update on Stray Kids member Felix.

For some time, Felix has been doing rehabilitation exercises and undergoing treatments for his back. While he has no major issues with daily activities, he has recently been experiencing pain when putting strain on his back. Therefore, he is currently receiving additional treatment.

After having thorough discussion between the artist, medical staff, and JYPE, we would like to inform you that the <dominATE NORTH AMERICA> tour will continue as planned, but certain performance moves may change according to the artist’s condition. Please note that this decision was made following the medical staff's recommendation to minimize strain on the back and the artist's unwavering desire to be on stage, with careful consideration of all 8 members of Stray Kids.

JYPE works with professional medical staffs who manage the health of artists during both domestic and international schedules. Even during the tour, we will prioritize the artist’s health by securing as much treatment time as possible. We will do our utmost to care for the artist and support Felix’s swift recovery. We appreciate your kind understanding in advance.

TL;DR, they finally acknowledged Felix's recent back pain and said he's getting additional treatment for it. :peepoblanket:

While I guess he won't be sitting out of any choreography (as of now), they will change the routine for some performances to make sure he doesn't strain himself.

He is honestly going to do his damndest to not sit out, so changing the choreo is about as best as they're probably able to do so he doesn't cause himself additional pain.

I sincerely do hope if his back issue persists that they don't add any new concerts to the schedule until he feels more capable of performing. Every time we look up, they added new dates to NA, LATAM, and EU when they were first announced and then they added four extra days to Japan out of nowhere. AND an encore in Korea. Who knows if they're attending more Summer Festivals this year, too. And they're working on a comeback this year that will likely be promoted.

I know Felix himself wants to perform as much as possible but they can't Tour indefinitely and I don't want him to push himself harder than he can manage :yooheadache:

I trust he will still perform well tonight but I don't even care about the choreo and routines changing. I just don't want him in any pain and not enjoying himself or starting to blame himself either. :peepoblanket:

I guess I won't harp too much on my gripes with the health update :yooheadache:

I already refrained from being too pessimistic about Hyunjin's jet lag since jet lag IS normal to a degree, but in LATAM, he had trouble adjusting to the time difference and he got sick for a couple days. But he hasn't mentioned feeling bad or sick as of now, so I'm being really optimistic that he'll be okay this time around. :yooheadache:

That said, he never told us he was sick last time until well after the fact, it was mostly from fanaccs that we heard he was sick and he didn't really say anything about it until he said he was staring to feel better. And even then, he still was clearly not 100% until he got back to Korea~

BUT, I will try to just be optimistic that they're both in condition to perform and won't do any more than they're capable of :peepoblanket:

I don't wanna assume the worst, let's just hope they both have time to rest and recuperate on the days when there's no concert. The one thing I didn't like about the LATAM dates that they're doing again in NA is they barely have a week off between most concerts. Some of them are like 3-4 days apart. At least for weekend concerts they're getting a decent amount of days to rest from the performing and traveling. So we will just pray for their conditions and that they'll receive the best treatment possible when needed :yooheadache:

OK NOW I WILL MOVE ON, we got a few tiny crumbs today~ At the goodbye in Shizuoka D-4, Hyunjin bumped into Felix during the Your Eyes/Goodbye

Which wouldn't have happened outside of the way these two cannot help but stand SO EXTREMELY CLOSE TO EACH OTHER all the time :doge:

We can also see them both here saying bye to the fans before that so this was an ongoing lingering~
