My Hyunlixing from late Tuesday and yesterday got deleted I'll have to recap it all. No moment of Hyunlix can go unposted~

Firstly, I posted a compilation of their couple items from Hwgflx on Twitter since we were on the subject of matching items.


So I just talked about how I know plenty of idols and groups do the whole, couple item thing, but with Hyunlix just feels really special. Even if there are items that are owned and shared amongst the group, there are just so many instances of them going out of their way to match with each other specifically. They talked about their couple rings at every opportunity in interviews up until they lost them. Felix especially said again and again that he never took his off and the only time he did was when he gave one to Hyunjin to wear when he lost his. Then the Teddy Bear necklaces from Jeju Island which they barely wear because they don't want to lose them. Again, Felix expressed that it's such a precious item to him. So it's like they're not simply items they want to match, they actually mean so much to both of them.

I think it's funny that while it's usually Felix who talks about how important their matching items are, Hyunjin is the main one who brags about them. He went around telling several members when he and Felix were wearing Couple Earrings in a SKZ Talker episode. He was the one who asked Felix if they should buy the Teddy Bear necklaces together and stressed that he only bought it with Felix when he was answering a fan's question about it. He was the one who gifted Felix the couple rings in the first place. They always call them COUPLE items, on top of everything. It feels like a lot of their couple items is Hyunjin's idea and Felix values them so much that he either never takes them off or rarely wears it so they don't lose it.

There's just so many instances of them wearing the same items together, like the recent presscon where the rings appeared to be similar, an old Slumber Party Vlive where they wore matching bracelets or another where their pajamas matched, the black nail polish in Chk Chk Boom (I don't remember any other members wearing it?), the Mashup teaser where they had a similar looking ring on the same fingers as the original Homaika rings, they both wore glasses in the Mountains teaser when no one else was. Maybe you can chalk some of this up to the stylists but its pretty clear most of it is of their own volition because it's way too many to be a coincidence.

Which for me, is why it isn't really important if the whole group has or shares some of these items because they're choosing to couple with each other whenever they wear them. And it's so important for them for whatever their personal reasons are and I just think that's the most precious thing. Every single member could have a Teddy Bear necklace but they chose to buy theirs together. It's so wholesome and I just adore their bond.

TBH, not expecting much from New York. I mean, we could get something, but I'm sure it's probably mostly about filming the MV and maybe meeting Ryan Renolds, so I'm not going to expect much.

SKZ Carrier, eeeh IDK what to expect for that so I will go in with low expectations.

SKZ Log looks like it'll be from when they were just in Milan so I'm PRAYING we get Hyunlix Italy Date like I'M ON MY KNEES

Last will be the STAY Birthday Party and the Stray Kids MV. Now AT BARE MINIMUM we should get Hyunlix movie date scene in the MV so it's at least something.

Whether any of these things will bring in new badge material for us...no idea honestly but hey, we should at least get SOMETHING from at least a couple of these days, right?

The first time we heard of it was in the Teen Vogue video, from what I can tell, it's pretty fresh. And yet they're throwing it around as much as humanely possible out of nowhere.

I know some of these were filmed in either March or May IIRC, but they're all coming out at the same time. But Felix said he started drinking it in the beginning of the year so I'm curious as to how just the prospect of drinking coconut water is still so funny in JULY.
