Not without my essay
I know we were supposed to do this ages ago, but I have been busy. But better late than never right Ddeona said to separate these into 2 sections so my first section will be the "Hyunlix es real: Hard to explain away as platonic" section. And the second will be the "Hyunlix es real: Reaffirmed" section. So let's get right into it Thankfully I already discussed why this moment is so great here, so I won't repeat myself. But long story short, the mere sight and a smol touch from Felix causes Hyunjin to get flustered and it's too much for me to handle. There is no platonic explanation for why such a small action form Felix caused Hyunjin to have such a flustered reaction unless he's legit crushing on him. There is NO PLATONIC explanation for this. End of story 
And there are so many examples of it that there's no way I can post even a fraction of them Hyunjin has this devastating habit of pouting when Felix interacts with another member, usually in a lovely dovey BL drama sort of way. AND IT'S HORRIFYING. Because why does he do it?!?! How can you look at that and think there is nothing going on between them. He only does it for Felix and no one else that I've seen. 
Horrible moment which can't be explained platonically 
I don't feel the need to repeat myself, but this has to be one of the best Hyunlix es real moments I've ever seen. Hyunjin is standing posted in this kitchen for no reason for the sole purpose of helping Felix with his cooking challenge. He knows his boyfie can't cook and he is just waiting to be the one to help him with this task which he does right after Felix ruins his first attempt at the dish. He even tells him in English that he likes scrambled eggs so Felix won't feel bad about messing up the meal initially. 
Hyunjin is staring at Felix in 4k and as soon as Felix looks up by chance, Hyunjin loses his marbles and forgets how to act like a human. He's probably stunned he got caught daydreaming about kissing Felix. And there's no way he isn't thinking about that because he zips his lips as soon as Felix looks at him. Like he truly thinks he might just kiss him if Felix were to turn to face him Quokka (who is always at the scene of the crime), points out how Hyunjin basically froze in the zone staring at Felix for no reason. 
I'm excited to see what 40 moments Ddeona leader is going to choose.

So it's time to talk about the moments that convinced me that Hyunlix es real.
Let's start with my top 3 for section one, in order
Car Flirting
I only found out this moment existed about a month, and it's already one of the best things I've ever seen.
Love Confession
We recently celebrated the wonderful anniversary of this moment. And what a great moment it was. For Felix to sit there and pour his heart out to Hyunjin in English about how he sometimes can't control himself when he thinks about Hyunjin and how Hyunjin gives him a reason to live. It's wonderful
But the fact that Hyunjin posted on Bubble about this after the fact and the way he just sat there in COMPLETE SILENCE while Felix was confessing to him, IDK how anyone could think this wasn't such a real moment for both of them Pouting Hyunjin
Ddeona knows that anything to do with pouting Hyunjin has me lose it.
Why? Why is he always hovering around Felix like he's the chief of police pouting and looking salty whenever someone walks up
It makes no sense unless that's his boyfie and he's jelly over not having his undivided attention.
Like I said, it's impossible to include all moments, but here is the WORST one I've seen
Piri can't even chill with Quokka without Jiniret pouting in tiny, basically forcing Bbokari to back up off Quokka and give Jiniret the attention he desires. Then all of a sudden he's magically happy again.
Now for the super Hyunlix es real moments, all of which have happened in the past couple of months
I Like Scramble
I already wrote an essay on why I love this moment so much in our top Hyunlix of December celebration.
The reason why I consider this a Hyunlix es real moment is because Hyunjin doesn't do ANY of this for Quokka who has the same task as Felix, struggled with his task like Felix, and was in the kitchen the entire time with Felix. And yet Hyunjin only stays around to assist Felix. He legit waits until Quokka completely leaves to start offering some cooking assistance. That is boyfriend behavior
But he just kept cheering him on and trying to encourage him until they finished everything together Like it's giving husbands honestlyJiniret Going Ferret in the Couple Confession Livestream
Literally needs no explanation
Again, this really speaks for itself as for why this is a Hyunlix es real moment. Bro is so smitten by his boyfie that he starts buffering on live and when he gets caught he gets scared he's gonna start smooching
Which is actually the WORST thing about all of this after Han teasing Hyunjin about the fact that he froze Felix just sitting there watching, knowing Hyunjin is GONE because he's looking at him is ACTUALLY FXXKNG WILDHead Nuzzle at Hong Kong D-2

Both Hyunjin and Felix, obviously, but Hyunjin SERIOUSLY because I was just stunned when I first saw this. And it's like he tries to be a little subtle about it but it's like he can't help himself from smiling and looking at Felix and he just has this shy look on his face whenever he looks down IT'S SO FXXKING PRECIOUS 
This was the first time I really noticed that Hyunjin just cannot help smiling at Felix whenever he’s doing anything and he’s STILL doing this even now so it’s like, of course this was the first stepping stone on the Hyunlix es Real train. And by no means am I leaving out Felix on this, it’s just the first one I saw from this day was Hyunjin’s and I was immediately like WORLD PAUSE because that man is looking at Felix with the softest most wholesome smile just for no reason at all, broad daylight, no shame at all. It was INSANE But Felix looking at Hyunjin with the same level of adoration and just endearment like TODS has SUCH a special place in my heart just for how real they were being in public just with the way they were looking at each other so much that a whole ICONIQUE article got written about it. 
First of all, the performance????? When Felix does his tap dance, Hyunjin has this borderline loving sigh while Felix is about to start like he’s LEGITIMATELY IN LOVE WITH HIM, IDK HOW ELSE YOU’RE SUPPOSED TO READ THIS. LEGIT the first time I saw this clip and Hyunjin just smiles to himself and sighs when Felix was about to start his routine, I thought "YO Hyunjin is ACTUALLY in love with Felix"
THINK ABOUT IT FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF THE OTHER KIDS LIKE LITERALLY WHO ELSE SHOULD BE DOING THIS BUT THE BOYFRIEND LIKE IT OBVS HAS TO BE HYUNJIN. Seeing these moments REALLY hammered home to me that something was definitely up with these two. The fact that it’s the same person over and over again and just the way Hyunjin looks at Felix is just unquestionable that he feels deeply for him.
If he wasn’t going to hold it, why did he stop himself for whatever he was about to do?? Like what is he not allowed to do here that he felt the need to stop himself?
IT IS THE #1 MOMENT THAT MADE ME BELIEVE THEY ARE DEFINITELY NOT JUST PLATONIC FRIENDS. THEY HAVE TO BE LOVERS IF THE SECOND THE PROFESSIONAL SKINSHIP HATER SEES YOUR HAND IS EMPTY, HE'S TRYING TO REFLEXIVELY HOLD IT BECAUSE HE ALWAYS HOLDS YOUR HAND BECAUSE HE'S YOUR BOYFRIEND BROS, IT WAS SO JOEVER WHEN I FIRST SAW THIS~ THEY’RE SO REAL, THEY'RE SO BOYFRIENDS, THEY'RE SO LOVERS, THEY'RE SO COUPLE, THEY'RE SO MARRIED, THEY'RE SO REAL, PLEASE LET THEM HOLD HANDS FOREVER
Ongoing real. ACTUAL BOYFIES AND WE LOVE THAT FOR THEM IN ANY WAY THAT THEY SHOW US Like I generally didn’t even expect he’d say much about Hyunjin just because in most of the other episodes, he also didn’t say much. But if you compare them, Felix had a lot more stuff to say in Hyunjin’s episode, like you really can’t deny that. A lot of people wonder why Hyunjin and Felix don’t live together and I really don’t know why since they probably spend way more time out of their rooms than in them and by now they’re probably used to living with Seungbin. But it’s just SOOOOO telling that they have to be spending SO much time together despite not sharing a room, like I can’t NOT think they’re real knowing this and seeing these two episodes. Legit Han nodding at Hyunjin for info about Felix that Hyunjin wasn't even sharing was enough for me, the rest is just a nice bonus 
Because they’re the only two who took photos like this. They look exactly the same and it’s obvious they decided to do this together.
Because I mean most Hyunlixers act like they don’t even remember these photos exist. It wasn’t something really showy, it’s literally just some behind-the-scenes photos for an MV that isn’t even the main MV of the comeback. But it’s just this random thing they decided to do together. Wanting your photos to look the same, to me, has the same vibe as when they wear couple items. It’s the way they just want to look like each other and for us to notice when they do. And taking what are effectively couple photos, just the two of them, is such a Hyunlix es Real thing for me. But they’re similar to the previous moments except a bit less subtle, IMO.
This coming on Hyunjin’s 100th Instagram post when he had effectively gone an entire year (since January) without posting a single selca with Felix feels like it was INCREDIBLY intentional. That photo stands out like a sore thumb against just a bunch of photos of Hyunjin either just capturing his recent performances or promoting the So Good MV which came out the same day. And it’s the second photo we see. Again, there’s no spot in this post where it feels like it makes sense for that photo to be, it very literally does not fit in the post BUT FOR the fact that he’s including it FOR the Life is So Good caption and he’s basically insinuating that Life is So Good with his boyfie. I'm struggling to keep this short because I could go on forever about this but that's the basic jist: this shit was not an accident and Hyunjin both know what he was doing and meant what he was posting but the kids have already done the farewell to the fans. And for seemingly no reason at all, Felix goes and gets Hyunjin and the two of them say goodbye one more time together. 
It doesn’t seem like any of the other kids do this. In fact, they look like they’re heading backstage while Hyunlix are doing this goodbye to the fans.
Felix specifically goes to get Hyunjin and brings him to say goodbye to the fans together. He could have done this with anyone, but he chose Hyunjin. It was important for Felix in that moment to want to do something like that with Hyunjin. And, for me, it feels like the reason is because it’s probably more satisfying to do with your lover than anyone else. 
But this is just like UNDENIABLE. At this awards show while everyone is just causally jamming out, Hyunjin randomly asks Felix if he wants water. Felix gestures that he’s fine and Hyunjin just puts it down and they both keep dancing. He was literally just checking on Felix. When time and time again Hyunjin keeps doing these things and it’s always for one person and the same person every time, it starts to feel very much like that guy is your mans and the reason you’re doing that is because you’re boyfies. This JUST so happened to be caught on cam, so it’s legit just naturally how Hyunjin takes care of Felix. It’s INSANE to me that more people don’t talk about this moment because it’s like just screaming at us that what these two have is more than what they have with anyone else. I had been trying to get to the bottom of this on my own with no luck at all. But effectively, a lot of Korean Hwangpillers have pointed out that Hyunjin, whether intentionally, unconsciously, or by force of habit, calls every single member on Bubble or FANS by their full name, except Felix. He only ever calls him either Yongbok, Yongbokie, or Yombogi. And I knew it HAD to mean something, but I couldn’t figure out what. I had to ask my Korean Unnie and she basically explained to me that it’s uncommon for Korean men to call each other by nicknames and they usually refer to each other by their full names. But it feels a little distant if it’s someone really close to you or who you have some kind of special relationship with, and Hyunjin happens to only not do this with Felix. So it comes across as Hyunjin making an effort to not distance Felix in the same way you would your casual friend because he is going out of his way to refer to Felix affectionately. And Hyunjin does this consistently. He will literally mention four or five people in a post and call every single one of them, including himself, by their first and last name. And randomly in the middle of it, call Felix, “Yongbokie”. And if that’s really the reason Hyunjin is doing that, then it really just seems undeniable to me that they’re a couple. Because only calling Felix by a nickname is REALLY specific. He’s not the youngest, he’s not the only foreigner; there’s really no reason that would suggest Hyunjin would feel the need to call him any differently than the other members BUT FOR their relationship being closer than the others in a very important way and so I’m adding this VERY high in the list of reaffirmations that Hyunlix es real. Because Hyunjin himself distinguishes Felix simply in the way he types and probably doesn’t even realize he’s doing it. He refers to everyone else the way you would expect of Korean guy friends EXCEPT ONE because he just HAS to give him an affectionate nickname because he can't bring himself to refer to him like a casual friend. Their relationship is too special for him to call Felix by his full name, they're THAT CLOSE~ And we know ALL the kids are close, so It’s incredibly telling that Hyunlix are real to me I'm starting with the smol smile first because Felix could have seen Hyunjin’s part come up and gone absolutely ballistic over it but he doesn’t say a single word about it. He inadvertently smiles just by seeing Hyunjin and then tries to hide it like he realized what he was doing. And he just doesn’t say anything. He’s just happy to see his boyfie and doesn’t feel the need to make a huge spectacle about it. Like he could have said something, but he didn’t have to. The fact that he smiled there without even trying to says everything honestly.
Information that is USELESS to Hyunjin at this specific moment. He gains NOTHING FROM THE KNOWLEDGE THAT COUPLES ARE DOING IT UNLESS THEY ARE A COUPLE THEMSELVES 
He doesn’t say anything like “we’re not a couple, though” or “even though we’re not a couple?”. And thinking about it more, he doesn’t overplay on the couple comment either, like you would think he’d do if this was intended to be more like fanservice. But as I’ve said time and time again, despite this being FREE fanservice for div1, they couldn’t even actually have them do this challenge. Felix just did it after damn near three months with Mr. President and they didn’t even do it the way most couples were actually doing it where they both point at each other and spin around. It was the biggest wasted fanservice potential in history.
THEY'RE FXXKING REAL
Like I’ve said many times, IDK WHAT was in the air at Hong Kong. But whatever it was had Hyunjin and Felix both acting up. So Hyunjin is watching Felix jamming out by himself and then pulls up on him like he’s trying to flirt. They’ll be subtly flirty, but this was pretty damn in your face like they were OBVIOUSLY FLIRTING, THERE IS NO QUESTION. And we cannot overlook that Hyunjin was so into it that he forgot his fxxking line, he didn’t even make an attempt to rap it. I kid you not, these two were on the CUSP of getting a little too real on the stage and I just KNOW they would have got caught up in the moment and had to be pulled apart if that happened so we are really blessed that Hyunjin just kinda walked off after that. THEY DO NOT NORMALLY PLAY LIKE THIS, IT WAS REAL AF
