Can't stop thinking about Hyunjin's obsession with Felix's hair lately, especially during Thunderous. He has all but replaced the hand tickle with playing with whatever Felix's hairstyle is that day.

And I'm getting more and more deranged about it because it's SO FXXKING FLIRTY so we're going to talk about it

Backing the lore all the way up, the first time Hyunjin really did this was on the Hyunlix holiday 240714 at the Hyde Park BST Festival



It was just a cute little bun boop But then even after Thunderous, Hyunjin kept playing with Felix's hair



I'll never get over Hyunjin's expression, he looks like he didn't even notice the bun until that moment even though he'd already played with it before. He legit looks like this is the first time he realized it existed; bro CLEARLY wants to play with it so bad. And for what honestly?? What was the reason he wanted to touch Felix's hair then anyway? It's so crazy to me~

Now I will say, I THINK Hyunjin attempted to do this at I-Days Milano, which was a couple days before Hyde Park BST



He let go of Felix's hand but Felix grabbed it back and they did a normal tickle. I think Hyunjin wanted to go for Felix's hair, but he wasn't able to pull it off. Just my personal conspiracy theory since the only time Hyunjin really fully lets go of Felix hand is if he plans to play with some other part of his body.

Needless to say, the same thing happened at Lollapalooza; Hyunjin played with Felix's hair multiple times that day. During Thunderous:



Which was no longer just a boop, now Hyunjin is squeezing the ponytail Bro, the SQUEEZE for me is super DUPER flirty. Who just does that? ON STAGE.

Anyway, he also played with Felix's hair during this very romantic moment they had when they forgot they were on stage and that there were people watching them



After patting Felix's head, Hyunjin reaches for Felix's hair when Felix starts walking away for some reason and it's again like he didn't even realize Felix's hair was long or something, he looks so excited about it. And why do you just HAVE to touch his hair anyway?

And now we arrive at the DominATE World Tour where Hyunjin has continued playing with Felix's hair every single day except one, but we'll get to that.

I'll hit you up with the TL;DR in advance, though, and say my thesis with this is how the Thunderous Hand Tickle has really always just felt like an excuse for Hyunlix to flirt with each other on stage but it really feels blatant now with this hair tomfoolery. Because there's really no other reason why they went from looking at each other, to tickling hands, to Hyunjin getting his ass smacked occasionally by Felix, to Hyunjin basically feeling Felix up however he wanted during the MANIAC Tour, to him now just grabbing, squeezing, and shaking Felix's various hairstyles.

So like, them using this Thunderous Tickle as flirting hours isn't new, it really just feels like lately it's confirmed it for me. It's one thing to just play with each other's hands, it's just a silly little thing. But now you're squeezing and playing with Felix's ponytails during Thunderous? Not to mention how fast Hyunjin needs to do this because the timing for that move in the song is already such a short frame. So it would actually be easier to keep with the usual hand tickle, but Hyunjin insists on letting go of Felix's hand (which he needs to be holding for the choreography) to play with Felix's hair for half a second and then hurry up and grab his hand again so they can do that part correctly. It feels like they just wanna flirt on stage because now they're going out of their way to do all this~

Frankly, ever since Lollapalooza into the Seoul concerts, it feels like Hyunjin is just committed to getting more and more flirty with the hair playing.

On D-1, Hyunjin shook Felix's ponytail like it was a toy

On D-3, Felix had a little hair bun and Hyunjin booped it (and Felix smacked his ass).

On D-4, Felix had a low-ponytail, and Hyunjin grabbed it~



And don't think not having a ponytail will stop Hyunjin, because on D-2, even though they could have just hand tickled because Felix's hair was down, Hyunjin still chose to give Felix a headpat (and Felix also smacked Hyunjin's ass)

So Hyunjin's pretty much committed to the hair even if it's not grabbable. Even I thought they would just hand tickle if Felix's hair was ever down, but nope, Hyunjin wanna touch Felix's hair in front of everybody.

DominATE Singapore was the only day so far we didn't get any type of hair action because Felix was an opp that day and actually hand tickled Hyunjin to stop him from going for his hair PLUS he also smacked Hyunjin's ass, so huge W for Felix that day. But Hyunjin was clearly TRYING to grab Felix's hair, so it would have happened if Felix didn't block him.



But you can't convince me they're not flirting. They're smiling and laughing every time they do this even though they ALWAYS do it at every concert. It's like this makes their whole day

IF YOU'RE NOT FLIRTING THEN WHAT THE FXXK IS THIS FOR????

You'd think Felix shouldn't even be surprised by this anymore but he's tickling the air as if even he isn't sure if Hyunjin will play with his hair or not. I firmly believe this is not even something they talk about, they just do it on stage and it's just an in the moment thing.

Their little eye contact during Thunderous has just evolved into this shameless flirting because I can't for the life of me fathom why any of this is necessary if you're just being goofy with each other. Add onto the fact that Hyunjin had pretty much always played in Felix's hair like an affectionate thing so it's not like it's out of nowhere for him to do this. If anything, he's already used to playing with Felix's hair and now that it's long, he REALLY wants to just freely grab it on stage whenever he has an opportunity to. And I wish I knew if the other members also play with Felix's hair to this degree, because I frankly only pay attention to Hyunjin doing it and if he's really the only one who plays with it like this, I'm gonna feel even more deranged than I already do. I feel like some of them played with his extensions during No Easy Era, but obviously that wasn't his real hair, so it's not really all that comparable to Hyunjin messing around with Felix's real hair during the concerts the way that he does.

I will be curious to see if this continues throughout the tour. Maybe they will go back to the hand tickle at some point or maybe Hyunjin will do something else entirely. All I know is, them mfs are flirting, IDC what anyone says.

In Conclusion: Hyunjin owns Felix's hair, he can do whatever he wants with it on stage for the world to see. Probably the only person who can get away with it at this rate. Bro truly has no shame, deal with it~

OK, fun fact~ I typed up what ended up being a whole ass random rant about how it feels like Hyunlix scenes longer than 2 seconds just never seem to make it out of post when it comes to official content, but I nuked it all. I just feel like I'm probably sounding a little ungrateful considering the absolute feast of Hyunlixing that was last week. And typing all that out really put it into perspective for me how we really do get a lot of Hyunlix from them directly at the end of the day, so I just got rid of it

The main thing I was kinda griping over was how this stuff is great, don't get me wrong

Absolutely magnificent!! But this is technically them choosing to go Hyunlixing at work. While SKZ Code is really the only chance we get to see them doing fun, goofy stuff and playing games together outside of concerts.
