Separate topic, I really wonder when the kids are flying to Taiwan. If it's not tomorrow, I don't know how they're gonna have time to have rehearsal, which you'd expect would now be on Saturday if the concert is Sunday. I assume they may be waiting for the typhoon to pass completely? I read that it made landfall around 10 hours ago and it was pretty strong, so it's probably still not safe to fly yet. It just feels like only postponing the concert by a day means they still intend to fly out within the next day or so which I'm just very stressed about I just hope everyone is safe I get that there's only so far they can push it back without affecting the rest of the tour dates, which is why I don't know why they have so many concerts so close together in the first place God forbid they need to push something back by a week, it would just be impossible after this concert because they will be in a new city every weekend. It's just too much~

OK so it is officially the first of November in my time zone, meaning we will be hosting the very first "BEST OF HYUNLIX: MONTHLY EDITION" which is a new thing I just invented

Sorta like the "This Week in Hyunlix" that we already do, but rather than just recapping, this time we pick our favorite moments of the whole month and just talk about why we liked them so much So I present the very first:

Best of Hyunlix: October Edition

I will probably post mine tomorrow because I have a tendency to yap about too many things for way too long and I wanna make sure I said everything I want to say in one go I mean, I will need several posts to get through this anyway, so it's best to wait till morning for me.

But I'm DEATHLY curious about what @Wensuelrene is gonna pick So it's your world, squirrel, whenever you're ready, you can start us off~

OMG, the day has finally come!

Time to celebrate our top Hyunlix moments of October!

You don't know how excited I am for this!

I decided to pick out 4 moments, which hypothetically should be 1 per week, but in actuality, most of these moments all happened within ONEWEEK But anyhooooooooooo, I have some honorable mentions that I'll breeze through QUICKLY!

#3 - The airport reunion

Mainly because I just find it super goofy that these dudes had been apart for all of a few hours and Hyunlixers were acting like they hadn't seen each other in years Also the fact that Hyunlix was so impatient to see Felix that we was trying to go into the bathroom to get him. Despite the fact that, again, he literally just saw him a few hours before


It's just so silly

#2 - The AMAs. Literally a Hyunlix meal from start to finish. I could literally sit here and list everything that was so great, but the best of the best was of course the show itself. The Bye Bye Boom stage was incredible with the stand out moment being the close up My Amigo. OP, was so lucky to be able to see it live

I said it before but I stand by my statement that the AMAs objectively gave the best Hyunlix moments of the year so far.



#1 - Ddeona getting Bbokiret babies, matching them, and giving them Homika rings

Easily my number one honorable mention Adding the little squees to your Hyunlix collection was one thing, giving them hats to be matchy like Hyunjin was a super cute bonus, but the kicker was buying them Hyunlix couple rings.

Hyunlix's children doing what they do best with their signature couple item that they love so much? It's too much to handle.


Those were my honorable mentions. Now it's time for my top 4 Hyunlix moments of October 2024

My number 4 moment!



I knew we'd get some Hyunlix juiciness from the sports episode and they delivered

My answer is obviously all of the Hyunlix moments from the episode, but this one in particular was my top favorite.

I always love when Hyunjin speaks to Felix in his native language

It's so hard to be a foreigner in a place where you don't speak the language. That's why it's so heartwarming to see Hyung has always been talking to Felix in English since the fetus days.

But even with Felix being fluent in Korean now, Hyunjin still speaks to him in English

He doesn't have to, but he does!

That's why this made it to the top 4


Number 3 moment!

This is a great moment because it was so unexpected.

Who would have thought we'd get some surprise Hyunlix in seasons greetings?

Not me

Also it's so quintessentially Hyunlix

They're wearing the same colors!

They're the ONLY ones wearing the same colors

And they're right next to each other

As a color theory expert, you'd think the main course of action here would be to split up the only two guys wearing red and space them around the rest of the group in blue

But they're literally side by side

It's so unbalanced, all in the name of Hyunlix

It's beautiful!


My number 2 moment!



How could shoulder step out not get #2

Ya'll know what unhinged Hyunlix does to me

This is bizarre

Why are his hands glued to Felix in these videos?

And then Changbin gives Hyunlix such a slick side eye

But who wouldn't if they had to stand next to such madness

And let's not forget that this man was SO CLOSE to pouting when the members were basically fighting for Piri's attention

He looked so close to becoming petty

I would flip my sh1t if this man would have actually done that, but thankfully Felix gave Mr. Needy his attention to spare us a tragedy.

Still, the clinginess is peak Hyunlix so of course it got this spot!


And of course, my number 1 moment!

This is such a precious and adorable moment

I really didn't think that much about it until I rewatched it a second time after going through everything that day.

THAT'S WHEN IT HIT ME LIKE A TRUCK

Everything about it is so wonderful.

The way they lean close to each other with so much happiness in their eyes is lovely

At first I didn't even remember that this was part of a joke. And I think forgot about it because at this point it no longer felt like just a skit for a concert.

Remember the compliment battle when Hyunjin was complementing Felix and called him "my sunshine" staring at him with an actual serious affection in his eyes?

That's what this felt like to me

In that brief moment it felt like Felix and Hyunjin forgot about the skit and genuinely expressed joy over how they were feeling so good in that moment to talk about each others songs.

Life was so good in that moment because the two of them were together, having fun, and probably flirting with each other in 4k on stage in front of millions unbeknownst to the crowd

Just like the tweet says, "Hyunlix in their own world", it's so true

No one else was there in that small moment; it's was just the two of them saying how life is so good because they have each other and I find that so beautiful

Okay, I'm probably severely overthinking it and I fear that saying all this might make Ddeona go nuts
But still, I can't believe how amazing this moment is! It's only a few seconds, it's something so easy to be overlooked, and yet it is easily the best Hyunlix moment of October 2024 for me!

Now for my BEST HYUNLIX MOMENTS OF OCTOBER 2024

Starting off with my 5 Honorable Mentions!

#5. Field Day

It would be a tragedy for me to not include anything from Field Day given that we got soooo much Hyunlix when we really didn’t even expect anything. There were a ton of cute moments, but I think I’ve made it pretty obvious which one was my favorite and that was this one.



I’ve talked about it before, but it can’t be understated that the timing of when Hyunjin chose to get the drinks being the literal second after Felix’s match started cannot be a coincidence.

Hyunjin played his match first, so he could have gotten a drink for himself, but he didn’t. You could say he was just waiting for everyone to finish, but wouldn’t it still make sense for Hyunjin to prioritize everyone else who had already played? Hyunjin gets the drinks as soon as it’s Felix’s turn and then brings Felix’s drink to him first instead of just waiting for Felix to rejoin the group. ​

After Hyunjin gives Felix his drink, he goes back to give his wife and I.N their drinks. And he also does all of this while dragging the chicken costume around his feet instead of taking it off. I’m sure he was pretty uncomfortable, but he did it anyway.

It would be one thing if it were JUST him getting the drinks right when Felix’s match started, or JUST bringing it to Felix before anyone else, or JUST the fact that he did it while dragging around this deflated chicken costume around his legs, but ALL of that happening together?

It feels much more likely to me that Hyunjin probably thought to get the drinks when it was Felix’s turn because he wanted to have one ready for Felix when he was done playing, and of course he wasn’t going to exclude the other team members while he was over there.

But I don’t think he was just sitting there the whole time thinking to get drinks for everyone but just waiting for the exact second that Felix went to play to get them. Hyunjin getting up when he did makes me think it’s so clear that Hyunjin’s priority was Felix then, and further solidified by Hyunjin bringing Felix’s drink directly to him before anyone else and it’s just so sweet how Hyunjin always takes care of him.

You mean at the mere MENTION of “being good at sports in school” Felix doesn’t even let Changbin complete his full thought, he just starts talking about Hyunjin???

And even though what he said was cut and we didn’t hear all of what he said (though we've seen some fan speculation), the fact that Felix immediately starts pointing to Hyunjin to start yapping about him, it’s giving, “Yeah, Hyunjin! Hyunjin was also good at soccer in school! You guys know Hyunjin is super cool, right??”.

PLEASE, HE’S HYUNJIN’S BIGGEST FAN, it was the CUTEST THING He will never miss an opportunity to praise Hyunjin about ANYTHING~ I’m so sad it got cut like this cut gotta go in the Hall of Fame

#4. Season’s Greetings

So obviously this isn’t a “moment” really , but it’s a thing that happened this month and it shook me to my core, so I’m having it on the list. And I’ve already echoed why but YOU CANNOT TELL ME THIS IS A COINCIDENCE.

How is it that the stylists manage to have almost the entire group in blue but as soon as they get to Hyunlix, they are both the ONLY two wearing the red and white color combination together?

And that might not be that big of a deal to me if they weren’t constantly being caught in 4K wearing those colors together this year????

For the Met Gala, for Chuseok, and let’s not even talk about how Hyunjin is always wearing red while Felix is always wearing white.

Not to mention that they not ONLY are next to each other in the main photo but also in the unit photo as well??? ACTUALLY THE FACT THAT THEY’RE IN THE SAME UNIT AT ALL IS ALREADY BASED BECAUSE THAT DAMN NEAR NEVER HAPPENS.

So Hyunlix in their recurring red and white colors, next to each other in two photos, completely unexpected was just SUCH a good moment.

And like I said, the timing of when it came out was right in the middle of what ended up being such an insane week already, it just really solidified that week and I love everything about it and can’t wait until I eventually get all of their photocards. But I especially want the behind footage, making videos, just show me them wearing these outfits PLEASE
