I don’t think Helen will debut personally. SM have been working on the new girl group for 6 years. There’s no way they’ll just add a new girl to the group as soon as she’s joined. Even though most people don’t think SM have had a lineup prepared until last minute, that likely isn’t the case. They know who they want to debut and who they don’t, and so many years of preparation has gone into this group. The lineup has likely been ready for at LEAST a year, or at the very least they’ve gone through final stages of picking members and it would be ridiculous to add a brand new trainee, regardless of if other SM idols have debuted after only a few months of training, I still don’t see it happening. If I’m wrong I stand corrected though

Well if that was the case then lami and Koeun was in the lineup?? If that was the case then why did they wait until the last minute of the lineup to be finished to leave? Also remember how the ex trainee who we just learned about left right before lami and Koeun and said something about they didn’t make the cut and this was it? Yeah I think they were the doing the final preparations

I honestly put Helen with the likes of trainees like Daisy. People held on more to Helen because she had so much more pre debut stuff being released. that's my honest opinion

I also believe she is a regular trainee just like others but about being 'associated ' with SM, it doesn't mean that those who only gets promoted somehow by SM are going to be in the lineup. SM obviously has few more guaranteed trainees whom they didn't promote at all. Unless it's only Hina Ning Jimin and BBC girl in the lineup.

What I mean is assuming Helen is not in the lineup because SM didn't directly promote her is a bit wrong.

Having no promo or training less is not uncommon in SM tho, Chen, Baekhyun, Chenle, Shindong trained for only a few months

idk i think it's because everyone automatically grouped Helen with the other 3 trainees, Jimin, Ningning and Hina that I found kind of weird. Like people feeling somewhat sure that those 3 are in there make sense but Helen just really seems more like a Daisy situation to me more than anything. yet people are sure she would debut too. it's something about Helen's situation compared to the others that make her seem less of a candidate. but who knows.

i mean i could believe sm is pulling the strings behind her studio and saying leak the dance video to create some hype. but sm doesn't really seem to be doing anything with the other girls. they spend 0 effort into the girls so why would they go through that much trouble. so that seems kind of far fetched. I don't disagree with you that Helen is separate for the other three who, at this point, are more than likely confirmed for the group. The reason I think Helen is going to debut, aside from minor signs we've gotten, is that she's such a natural at dancing I feel like SM wouldn't pass her up similar to how they couldn't pass up Chen, Baekhyun, or Chenle vocally.

SM trainees are known to leave when the lineup is finished. A real example is SNSD (p.s. I know Taeyeon mentioned she hate articles about supposedly to debut with SNSD.), back to my explanation; SNSD lineup was revised many times from 9->11->12->9; a lot left/quit at the last mins because they changed their mind/dreams. So Lami & Koeun may have decided to leave SM for personal reasons (something SM doesn't required to explain to fans) ; why must it be they doesn't have to be "they didn't make the cut"? None of us work in SM; I understand some users doesn't see Helen in the lineup (they have their reason/opinion, you have yours) but why do we need to bring Lami & koeun in when they already left possibly for personal reason;

I also shared before Lami's naver profile, SM didn't take out (though I have not check after that), like I said Lami may be still in SM but focus on other career prospect like actress

Is just people creating the hype about the gg since SM has not been debuting gg for quite a long time & is a topic for the gp.

Yes I also do agree with SM style of promoting their new gg is different from the past. Since the well known im_jammed (report analysts/translator) already mentioned, there is staff movement in SM. So I do see their PR for new gg/bg change from the past.
