That isn't the same.... this trainee was introduced while speaking on a broadcast with a group. They weren't a backup dancer NOR on a music video.

I really don't know what to think about Hyunbin. On one hand, I definitely think it is weird for SM to promote another company's trainee when they could've just had some idol as a guest. And it is true that her hair look like the flannel girl's. On the other hand, most agencies forbid their trainees to say from which agency they are so it doesn't mean that she's from SM and it is weird to introduce a potential future member of their group as a reveluv... and I don't think that she looks that similar to the flannel girl
I hope she is an smtrainee. I like her voice and her visuals. I'm still hoping for a 7 members group....

Hmm, I feel like, SM is doing this to gain some sort of pre-debut hype yet not spoiling too many things about the group... Because SM might be scared of their debut flopping, like some of their other groups... (No shade just saying...)

I don't really consider this as promoting her. It just seemed like they needed some rookie wannabe singers for their program and some of them happened to be trainees. I feel like it would be weirder for SM to promote their own rookies in this type of program.

I don’t understand this notion that SM doesn’t have enough trainees for the group. The last we’d heard from the Rookies was in 2016 and SM would’ve definitely scouted more girls since then and girls that weren’t introduced to us before then as well. SM have plenty of trainees and some of whom I can imagine will even stay once SMNGG have debuted for a future group if they don’t make the lineup

But i was thinking that hyunbin came in her uniform and she seems to have the same age than Lami since she looks young
And her uniform don't look like the uniform of Sopa etc... Which are the top school for trainees
So i was thinking if she couldn't be the hidden trainee who is rumour to go in the same school than Lami

Lami's uniform is different but the rumor said that the private trainee was in a different class so maybe the uniform changes based on that (?). Hyunbin should be only one year older then Lami so it could be.
