tbh i consider this more a pre-release. the real release of content and promos probably won't begin till they release their first physical album. That's what happen with RV. they released 2 singles. Minimal promos. then when they released ICC that's when it really started to begin. so they'll probably release another single soon after. Then a MINI.

Question: do y'all think the girls next comeback will be a remake? If so do you think it'll be of a The Grace or SNSD song? On the one hand, it's in character for SM to ignore The Grace's existence. On the other hand it'd be much easier for the girl's to make a CSJH title track their own than a SNSD title which are all still very much in the public consciousness.

I think remaking an SNSD song is far too risky of a move. Like you said they're all still in the public conscious and it'd be hard to make a standout remake that the public wont compare to the original. CSJH haven't been around for a long time so it gives more room to play around and reintroduce a song to the public. Regardless I hope their next release isn't a remake...

But Red Velvet went to Weekly Idol and radio shows before ICC.
+ I don't think SM will treat them as RV ...i'm hoping for a single album or a mini album for their comeback.

true.. I know RV did a little bit of show appearances etc. Guess I was referring more to the slow pace (not so much specifics) and mainly that RV released 2 singles first, before releasing a MINI. While RV did so some show appearances from the "get go"... aespa did get a fandom name early, dance practice, tik tok, VLive, etc. So it's kind of a trade-off IMO. they are 6 yrs apart so it's kinda hard to compare as social media platforms are different in each era. But who really knows with SM. they are unpredictable. But I know they will start off a bit slow and gradually increase as they want to build up their fandom. It's much slower than BGs.
