There's some news about SM losing a lot of money recently and they're changing plans in the company. I think it's going to affect everyone in the company including the girls debut. I hope that's not going to happen.

Hi! I've been lurking around this thread for a while. Posting for the first time.

It's been 1.5 years since I'm waiting and almost gave up hope until Yoo Jimin appeared. Since some of us are worried if smngg will debut in this situation or not. I'm not 100% sure but I'm hopeful they will. I think SM already knew about this situation way before us. It's not like they were planning to debut a ngg and now they have to reconsider everything because they didn't see this coming. Since they introduced Jimin to us and we saw trainees in that elevator pic with guitar/ a trainee was spotted wearing black mask in front of sm office (probably practicing), it's all a positive sign. Plus they already invested quite a lot in them (training for years + shining star) so they would probably want something in return right before cancelling everything. Most of the new groups nowadays have age range starting from 1999/2000-2003 so it's the perfect timing otherwise it'll be too late. Plus EXO members enlisting one by one+ RV being on their 5th year, they need another group that'll help SM along with NCT in near future. And ngg is a better choice since they have NCT and another boygroup doesn't make sense.

i agree with you! i'm sure they saw this coming which would explain at lot of the things they have been doing, especially this past month. i also agree that a srg debut soon is still super possible. i mean, it wouldn't be the first time that they debuted a new gg while things were messy and i wouldn't consider this situation to be getting as much backlash as all the dating scandals/member leaving scandals that rv debut with in 2014. all the jimin hype is also something that's giving me hope! i think someone mentioned here before that photo / video leaks usually happen when it's getting nearer to debut time + the fact that we're getting rumors at all is a little promising (like when all the rumors about sm having a kim yoojung look alike (joy) happened right before rv's debut announcement). bc of how nct operates, sm already has a surplus of bgs to manage right now and it seems like it would be the perfect time for a gg. since years of planning goes into debuting groups i'm sure they already have all the plans laid out and the budget decided. maybe irrelevant but i'm not that worried about them considering closing coex. ever since they copyrighted the FRNZ characters i figured they might wanna open a shop revolving around that (similar to the kakao friends stores and bt21 stores)

I think that people saying that the "etc" meant SR19G was more of a joke because we srg stan believe every rumors most of the times but yeah it probably meant something like that.

Same and it's sad when you see agency who start to tease their trainees after Smngg and already debuting
Like itzy, rocket punch, fanatics, star empire GG, etc....
Who trainee who already have more content than us like mystic GG or banana culture GG

I kinda hope they do a specal stage on SMTOWN Tokyo,but with SM it's better if we don't get our hopes up.

Some prediction acc on twitter said that the girls may participate in SMTOWN as back up dancers. Most prediction accs are sasaengs or steal/buy info from insiders, so idk how true is that statement. I'll try to find the tweet and post it in here.
