omg.. and it fits so well. F9 really have a song called "Next Level"? Well... I hope this doesn't create issues or.. if they are related in any way. I mean... it would be cool if somehow the song was connected to the movie. or vice-versa. But.. it could just be they recognize the title and decided to throw that in for their teaser... who knows...

The instrumental + the "check it out" part is exactly the same definitely not a coincidence. The producer follows them apparently so it seems they have permission to sample or remake it though.

Thx.. yeah... I wouldn't think there would be any "legal type" issue. SM is usually good bout that (when it comes to music rights). and they have done this a million times. I was more curious/concerned that kpop fans would start to spread rumors. i already saw a akp article on it with their clickbait headlines. I didn't click on it but hopefully they gave a logical explanation.

ppl are arguing if it was filmed in 2019 with former trainees in the cast and others are saying it's not them and the video was filmed during forever era. I think likely different parts were filmed at different times it'd be a crazy coincidence if two background actresses just happened to look like well known former trainees but also I don't think the lineup was finalized that early as Giselle joined in late 2019.

Idk the members of Rocket Punch so I wouldn't know their faces. But LOL at the "as expected SM" comment. Oh please... not everyone and everything needs to be credited. Even in real blockbuster movies where top actors do cameos sometimes they don't get credited. For example, Matt Damon was in THOR: RAGNAROK when he played the fake LOKI was never credited in the movie. And I had no idea that was him with the makeup and everything.
As far as when it was filmed... whatever trainees.. etc. who knows? I mean.. people can make speculations all they like.. but without any proof then what does it matter? what are these people trying to figure out??

I mean if your faves appeared in a huge video like that you'd probably want to know if it was actually them... also ppl love looking into possible interactions between groups no matter how small so it seems perfectly normal to me and since Aespa are so much more popular it could be a decent boost if they got credit so again, normal for fans to want. It's natural that they didn't since they did it as trainees and were probably meant to be hidden and wouldn't have been credited anyway so it's not like SM would give them credit just because they left, there are probably other trainees in the video we just don't know bc they haven't left, but yeah I used "controversy" in the title but I wasn't saying it was a big issue just a fun easter egg type thing. yk: like the Marvel movies SM is trying to imitate
