This coming Friday in the UK, the BBC is showing their K-pop documentary called "K-Pop Idols: Inside the Hit Factory". It features Lee Soo-man (SM boss) and Baekhyun amongst others. I'm looking forward do it! For those of you elsewhere in the world, I hope it magically appears somewhere for you.

"Can K-Pop seriously challenge the West's domination of the global music industry? Music journalist James Ballardie travels to Seoul to meet Soo-man Lee, the Svengali-like figure behind the phenomenon."

Why is this me
All jokes aside, I'll watch it. Hoping it's better than other documentaries about kpop out there.

it won't let me watch it because i'm not in the uk.
I've watched this programme and it was actually quite interesting. It was a pretty good and fair introduction to K-pop which explained it quite well. It mainly featured SM artists (presumably the BBC got special access), but there was some brief appearances with Gfriend and VaV.
I think it didn't give enough attention to girl groups or soloists, but there's only so much time I suppose. It also didn't really cover the importance of fandoms. But maybe that's just a whole other story to explain!
And of course there's always that "validation" thing about K-pop only mattering if it "can succeed in the West". Although there was a slightly new take on it in the way the programme suggests that maybe in the future it's K-Pop that is the global standard.
Actually, I've just searched on YouTube and this show has been uploaded by someone. Search for "K-Pop Idols Inside the Hit Factory" or "BBC K-pop". (Quick aside: that YouTube video is that first time I've seen someone ask for Korean subs!!! haha!)
