I usually just add an orb, so 5 orbs for a 4. Particularly if it's not a card in high demand.

Ok if you got 4* star card I want, I will keep that in mind

But 4-5 star pack is 20 orbs so 20/3=6.66 so about 7 orbs and adding 1 more orb for guaranteed card is fair. I would also sell Fran for 7 orbs if he wanted to negotiate.
