Corner Candy Shop [Development Phase]

So far,
1. AI art is banned from this thread in any capacity. You can use tools like background remover but you CANNOT generate ANY art of ANY kind.
2. We are all going to design a type of candy to represent us.
3. We will start taking some OP/shop requests but CCS members will share if they are interested.
4. Some alternatives listed so far are Photopea, Krita and Canva. We still have to look into Canva more because of the paywall.

So we used to do small tutorials here and there that led into some tasks. Would everyone be okay with making some every now and then?

I was also thinking we could have an instagram or have social media post for us?

i like the idea of tutorials!
but since people will use different programs, how can we make it so that everyone who’s interested in learning can still follow through? maybe we can have a challenge to create something in an alternative program to familiarize ourselves with them?

We can go program by program, maybe. I think some would be "how to use Krita" while others will be "how to make a gif" where we would specify the best programs for it. But your suggestion is very good!

The next course of action is programs! So, as Baymax has mentioned, not everyone has access to PS, so GIMP and some other options are out there. I believe @Chomiczewska has some really good alternatives.

ive seen people recommended photopea as another free alternative - worth checking out

Photopea is great, it's basically free PS tho transform not being ctrl+t, but ctrl+alt+t, will be the death of me, I use it for gifs all the time since my PS is trash at making them Also this is real fun for pixel art
