Original Thread's Title: Have you ever been named User of the Month? Do you think the reason(s) was deserved?

i was casually stalking browsing the UOTM threads ive missed and seeing some names i haven't had the pleasure of meeting, sooo hence the topic.

I think i was voted for being chaotic and i think it was undeserved cuz ive always been calm and collected.

HBU? Were you also unjustly voted too?

Aaaand, that led me to the next point.

Seeing that the UOTM voting is up and coming soon, may i direct everyone's attention to an out-of-the-box choice whose dedication to h+ has gone grossly overlooked @roseychu

Gather up around the fireplace, you beautiful children, and let me tell ya'll a tale as old as time here. While i was prepping up for my comeback after a hiatus so long that even YG was jealous his groups couldn't match, i was faced with an impossible obstacle! A dark and scary force, whom shall not be named for the safety of my life, had pulled some strings to sabotage my return by crashing the server. I was devastated. Not for myself but for my fans (with the creative fandom name: stans) who have patiently awaited the day I'd get released from the dungeon. Lo and behold, rosey to the rescue. She slammed her fist down on the table in righteous indignation and stated, "Nonono, i cannot let such flagrant power tripping go unpunished before my eyes!" I could see tears brimming in her eyes as she said those words.

I think she couldn't stand the thought that thousands of hearts would've been broken if my shows were to be canceled, so she'd worked tirelessly, day and night, to restore the very server we've all known and loved. Thanks to her, my comeback was a success - i was able to meet my fans again and didn't have to pay a hefty amount of orbs as cancellation fee to the vendor. Oh boy, i would've never been able to pay off such debt otherwise since I've been unemployed for 2 years after being bullied and kicked out from the [redacted] team (that shall be a story for the next episode)

Anyways, a lot of evidence on this sabotage has been erased, as you can see from the loss of threads, and the incident was passed off as an outage!!! But i know in my heart what the truth is and I live to tell you of it

I got it once! I've only ever made one theme and it was the reason I was UOTM.

I don't... think I deserved it? I have a lot of feelings about the theme and I kinda wish it was for something else?

yes, i've been named user of the month before! it was for my work when i was a junior moderator and for my animanga/japanese entertainment posting, so i think that's deserved!

yes, roseychu definitely deserves a win!! at some point, i started trying to encourage people to vote for users who have posted a minimum of 15 times a month because in my mind that's like, 1 post a day for at least half the month which i think is reasonable, but in a case like roseychu who doesn't post much, some might not realize her behind-the-scenes contributions... but she definitely deserves a win... so i'll have to shut the fuck up or something so we can consider her for user of the month
