nice, all of my faves have been added to main roster this year. Looks like I'll have a lot of free slots for idols then!
GG+ seems to be anti-Stray Kids so maybe I'll submit some of them for my free slots

I'm not familiar with them, but as far as i know, the songs are just synthesized from real voices and not the actual singers doing the job.

The vocaloids Miku, Len, Rin, Luka, Meiko, Kaito: Real voiced provided the voice banks and the songs are synthesized from those voice banks. No voice actor exists for them, the computer program vocaloid voices and sing.

The actual characters (Rui, Mizuki, etc): real voice actors voicing their lines and also singing for them. There is no voice synthesizing. This is a real person being paid to sing the part.

This is entirety different from Plave or KDA where already existing musical artists are singing on behalf of the characters. The voice actors are not musical artists. They are voice actors who are just being paid to also sing.

The voice actors singing the songs are simply a voice acting gig, not an artist singing a song and promoting a single. Project Sekai also for the most part doesn’t release original music either, they are just covering already existing vocaloids songs from the past 10-15 years.

For characters: the only anime I'm currently watching is The Apothecary Diaries and game characters are the main thing now there anyways so I will not suggest anything there.

I think i understand a bit better now. Some are Vocaloid, some are not.

The eligible period for dramas and movies goes from January 1st 2024 to April 15th 2025.
