when i was reading the 1st part i was thinking:
"he better pray the lord to never get catch dating while being a idol bc if not, this will so backfired on him.
unless he is aroace he will gonna eat his own words eventually"

but then i reach this part:
"compare KPOP fans who support idols dating to be the same as domestic abuse victims"

And oh boy
wft is wrong with him?

he's trying to vent frustrations he has with the idol industry in these lives, he asked people not to record these lives and said he is doing them on douyin and not instagram or any or international platform because he doesn't want to be policed by pocketdol ent and he doesn't want headlines connecting his name to fantasy boys as a group

he lost his father tragically to cancer last week after doing everything he could to save him on his own, he hopped from clinic to clinic talking to doctors and looking for anything that could help, he even opened crowd funding for the medicine because he couldn't afford it

his father was the only income in his family and he is now supposed to be the breadwinner and support his stay at home mom and his baby sister, he's incredibly scared and frustrated because he can't go back to fantasy boys because he isnt earning a penny in there, he has to stay in china and find a way to get money from there but he's a school dropout so he is trying to find a way to make it on his own in the art industry, trying to contact anyone who can hire him

he's in a desperate state and honestly i don't think he's in the right mind to be doing these lives at all

well, he could just chose to not do livestreams and just vent it out to his friends or other members of his family
being on internet is the last thing he needs now

kinda weird that he is doing livestreams and clubbing when he is on hiatus and grieving

It was honestly pretty naive of him to assume no one would record his live. As others here said, if he needed to vent stuff out the safest place would have been to vent it offline to a friend. Online lives are never safe from being spread.

I heard on Twitter he posted an apology letter to this already, but I can’t find it anywhere? (I was trying to find it to update this thread.)

What I did find in the research though is that he is stuck with the group and the company so he has to go back, he can’t leave. It seems though they are in a momoland type situation where they need to pay off the show fees before they get paid. If they try to leave early, they will have to pay it all back so people think he’s intentionally trying to get kicked out/fired so he can leave without paying the debt back? And that matches up with the story you are telling so I can see this making sense.

Something I’m just confused about though, is there a source for him being a highschool drop out? I can’t find anything on that, though many articles from his age controversy state he said at one point he attended university (not sure if he finished, but he just attended?) which implies he would have graduated highschool?…
