Some notes that I probably should have made clearer in the OP:
1) Power-up drawback is cumulative, meaning that if you attacked with a Sword someone that had a Chair, you'd get both the 200HP loss from the Sword and the 200HP loss from the Chair, a total of -400HP, that happened a few times in the game
2) People couldn't get the same power-up twice
