Meet Illithyia of Avaleon - the Ready Comer. High Witch of the 7 Sables.
Collage 1 - Outfit
A white military jacket with intricate black and gold detail that gives the whole look a dark aura. Paired with a black brallete with a mesh top, the brallete and mesh top are embroidered with little details to give a more mystical vibe. A classic long black skirt with a thigh split and jewelled pumps.
Collage 2 - Accessories
1. A gold thigh chain with little sun's at intervals.
2. A Cerberus pet - what Witch leaves home without one
3. A raven skull pendant, the raven is the symbol of ill omens
4. white acrylic nails
Collage 3 - Hair and Make up
1. Hair - A sleek, tightly pulled back high braided pony tail.
2. Make up - Illythia's moon crest symbolises her position as High Witch, whilst the red on the upper part of her face is acknowledgement of the lives she's taken. She's paired up the traditional witch look with heavy black eye liner and blood red lipstick
...
Mina - 7/10 - The shoes are :// The best part of this outfit is the jacket, but it doesn't fit in with the rest of the outfit. I would have liked it if you decided to drop it, since it doesn't fit your concept either: with a top like that, a jacket isnt needed either. Drop the thigh chain too, since it wouldn't be so visible either.
Mocha - 6/10 - Not a fan of the jacket, especially paired with the rest - I get that it was to give it a more of a regal look but to me, it just serves more of a musketeer than anything else. The shoes are, let's say it out loud: TRA-GIC. It's honestly something my emo ass would love in like... 2008. But let's leave the bows to these times. As for the rest of the look, it's cute, a basic witchy outfit which is elevated by the makeup look. So honestly, wish the jacket wouldn't ruin everything, especially since it's like... the main piece. Also, burn the shoes.
Riri - 7/10 - I think it would've been better had you chosen between the jacket and the shirt because together they don't really make sense, especially the jacket with the skirt.
Aki - 6.5/10 - First off, that's quite a nice look. I like what you went for. The skirt is beautiful. And I like the bralette. It is very interesting and has a witchy vibe. The jacket... hmm.... You see i like the jacket but it is very intricate and given the bralette is also intricate, it needed to be one or the other. not both. And out of the two, the bralette is much nicer. It just goes with the skirt really well. The jewelled pumps would have been nice without the bow. The bow gives off a very preppy college student vibe which doesn't work with the rest of the outfit especially given this is supposed to be a witch. I love the accessories you picked but... that thigh chain. It is really lovely however the skirt you picked would cover it completely. It could maybe peek out of the bottom but that is going to be it. I do however love the makeup and the pendant. the hair is very cool too. It has to be said that I love the inclusion of a pet. It was really unexpected but i really do like it. Eventhough it doesn't really count for the outfit.

Round 2 - Mystical Mayhem
I'm trying hella hard to make sure this doesn't look like costume, cause those words "it needs to look fashionable and good. And has to be wearable." are scaring the hell out of me. So i tried h-. A lot of different creatures went though my mind that i had to cross out cause i either didn't know how to make them look wearable or didn't know what they would even look like turned into clothes and make it look good at the same time. But i finally settled on smth. I decided to use a Tanuki to focus on for this round. In Japanese mythology, they're a type of supernatural-being/yokai. Up until Buddhism became popularized in japan, they were put on a pedestal similarly to gods, but after Buddhism they were demoted normal supernatural things and lost their divinity. They're very humorous and like to play jokes to make humans look like dumbdumbs. One of their main powers is shapeshifting and in several folktales they're said to use leaves to carryout their shapeshifting. They're used a lot in japanese pop culture now (like for example Mario's Tanuki costume, where he uses a brown leaf to change into). and they normally look like any one of these pics
As tanuki's are known for having several brown colors in their appearance, i decided to utilize that in the styling, using varies shades of brown. Starting with this brown fur coat (i saw Yeji wore it in wannabe so i stole it, thanks @kpop twitter fashion accounts), I'm changing the color of the coat to #5c4033, which is a darker brown that im putting a pic of in the top left of my collage. For the shirt, i wanted a striped crop top, since Tanuki's are often drawn stylized as having striped tails, so i chose a top with white, beige, and one last color that I'm changing to. I'm changing the black stripes to this light brown color #b5651d that i will have picture below. Next is the skirt, i wanted it to be a lighter color of brown as well.
Ok so, about the large ball sacks. They have these insanely large balls because according to folklore, Japanese metal workers used to store gold in them while they would make golden leaves. So I decided to reference that in my styling by use gold ball earrings.
Unfortunately i had to leave out the Tanuki's signature large straw hat, because that would've looked gaudy to me hh with the fur coat. So instead I opted for cute hair pins that are pictured in Part C. Now because Tanuki's use leafs to transform, i wanted to make use of that with small details through the nails, ring, and necklace. The nails are mostly green with a focus on the index finger's leafy design with small hints of brown and the foundation of the index nail being beige. The ring has a leaf vine design. and the necklace is a gold chain with several small leaves hanging. Since Tanuki's can also store whatever they want into their balls, i thought it was best to get a circular shaped purse. instead of that bumblebee charm on the bag, i'm changing it to a leaf pictured below. Then i wanted to finish it off with a brown leather watch.
For Makeup, i'm taking this black to dark brown to beige eye shadow gradient, it looks like a glow up of the normal Tanuki eyes. Then I'm taking this dark brown lip, pictured below the gradient eyes pic. and Lastly for makeup, I wanted natural and thicc shaped brows from the bottom makeup picture. I hope u guys get me, cause i have 3 different faces here. For hair, I've been into this hair clips style, but since Tanuki's are pretty fluffy i wanted much longer hair than the hair clips pic girl. For hair, I've been into this hair clips styling, so i wanted to use it, however I'm changing one of the hair clips on each side to be green like the nails from earlier. Tanuki's are fluffy so i wanted to have much longer hair than the hair clips girl.
...
Mina - 3/10 - I DIED at the large ball sacks part. I liked how you tried something different, and don't get me wrong, the outfit is really cute, but for me it screams teenage girl more than mythological.
Mocha- 4/10 - I screamed, out of all themes you could've went with... you pick a whole ass TANUKI. It's a cute look but I feel like it's way too basic, especially for a round like this. I probably could have walked out into the streets like a week ago and see a hoe wearing this exact fit running to write her 12th grade math exam. Bonus points for the large ball scacks part because that's exactly what I needed to read today.
Riri - 5/10 - Listen i'm grading this high enough even tho without your explanation i would've never known this was for this round specifically. This is look has been worn by any girl at one point in time.
Aki - 3.5/10 - So first off, I think you misunderstood the round. "it needs to look fashionable and good. And has to be wearable." doesn't mean you send an every day outfit for the round. Wearable meant that the outfit you create should be wearable. Example. if someone sends a fishtail as part of the mermaid look. Or gives massive wings for a demon look. It just cannot be realistically duplicated. Also the outfit needs to fit the theme and the theme was supernatural, mystical or morbid. While i get your tanuki explanation. This outfit just doesn't seem supernatural. It looks like you nicked it off someone who was walking down the road on a normal day. However i do love your explanation. You clearly spent time researching. However the outfit is not that great for this round. I do love the coat. I wish it was paired with something more interesting. I do love how you used the leaf and ball motifs in the accessories. That was really cool. I love the makeup. I think it is stunning. And the hair without the hair pins is really nice. I think i understand why you wanted hair pins. However the ones you picked are a little child like.

A) For this look i went for morbid, so there's a lot pentagrams and death references. I think this look is kinda unissex.
All pieces are black. The center pieces for this look are the pentagram sweatshirt and the pentagram bagpack with the "see you in hell" print. There's also a "dead" beanie, a simple ripped black jeans and a boot.
B) For the accessories i kept the morbid vibe going. I went with a razor blade necklace, and a "dead inside"/ouija pins for the bagpack.
C) For the haircut, something like the picture on the left.
And for the makeup, something very light yet a lil bit dark, like both pictures on the right.
...
Mina - 5/10 - It's ok, a bit basic. Nothing less, nothing more.
Mocha - 7/10 - Oh wow, an eboy look to match the egirl look from earlier! I don't hate this, it fits the morbid theme, I like the overall look but... it's just nothing special. Zzz.
Riri - 7/10 - This is very safe but i like it, that's about that.
Aki - 6/10 - So.... I like the look. I think the use of pentagrams was a nice touch. I like the pentagram sweat shirt. It looks really cool. And the bag is awesome. Plus the pants you picked works very well with the look. I like the frayed knee area and i think it helps with the morbid death vibe you picked. I think easily what i love the msot in the outfit are the accesories. They are awesome. I love the razor blade pendant and the badges are really cool. While the makeup and hair are nice. I wish you had done more. I wish you had given the person a few piercings. Something to make it more interesting. because while the outfit works. The fact that the outfit is predominantly black and what you've chosen to pair it with doesn't really push the morbid narrative, it just feels a bit basic and safe.

Mina - 7/10 - This outfit had potential. Those shoes aren't my style and I don't think they fit the rest of the outfit. Those arm.... things(?) were a bit too much. Other than that, it's great and fits the theme.
Mocha - 6/10 - GET OUT OF ME SWAMP!!!! I love a whole ass Shrek lore cosplay. And my child, you should've listened to the other half of the brain and leave out the arm things - not only they are horrendous, they also would clash with the sleeves of the dress. Without them, I wouldn't mind the whole outfit.
Riri - 5/10 - This looks more like a cosplay than a normal outfit so i can't help but grade it less, the quality of some pieces seems off too so overall it's just meh.
Aki - 6/10 - So... how much is too much? First of all. I like the dress. Is it costumey? yes. Yes it is. But can you wear it? of course you can. Given they are the situations you mentioned. The dress pairs well with the boots you picked. The boots actually help ground the outfit which is great. I love the hairstyle though i wonder given your outfit has a hood, would the hairstyle need such an intricate pattern at the back? However i love the curls and i think they would give a breath of liveliness to the outfit. The makeup is really pretty and then you have the accessories... I can get behind the pendant. It works with the outfit. but the ear rings... I am not too sure. I think they kind of hammer in the leaf motif which is already very present in the dress, the hair style and the other accessories so you could have gone for a daintier pair or removed the dangly ear rings and kept the other one. The gloves though... oh no. You should have ditched them. They don't go with the dress at all. Wrong pattern. Wrong colour. They look way too tacky for the outfit. The outfit is already in costume territory and it is a step away from becoming tacky so you don't want to push it too far.

Mina - 4/10 - Looks like my sister and that's not a compliment lmao.. I think it's kinda tacky and ugly, fits the morbid theme though.
Mocha - 3/10- Not this goth look, in 2020. And it's not even a good, modern goth, it's the goth from 2010! Keep it.
Riri - 5/10 - All i can say is that it fits the theme somehow but it's very safe, also tone down those lips.
Aki - 3/10 - hmmmmm.... Okay I think i understand why you picked the outfit. The use of pentagrams and bones gives off a morbid vibe and the purple is witchy but.. that dress. oh no. This cut is very strikingly early 2000s. and it looks... cheap. The fabric just doesn't have that oomph factor. It looks like something off wish. I like the boots and the fish net. And while i like the gem in the bracelet. It just doesn't look that good. You can see in the pic itself the leather bits are choppy and not smooth. The bag once again it has a glossy, cheap finish. but i don't mind it as much. I know it is tough to find the pieces you have in mind with better quality materials used. I do love the hair and makeup. I think the eye makeup is beautiful and the ombre hair.. gorgeous.

COLLAGE C
...
I think the eye makeup is beautiful and the ombre hair.. gorgeous.

That means sadly we need to say goodbye to Yuki and Tommie as they received the lowest scores for the round. I hope to see you play again. Just because you didn't score well doesn't mean you don't have an eye for fashion. It just wasn't your day that's all!
Thank you for playing!
