It seems SM's newest hobby is debuting controversial kpop idols.

It was announced this morning that former stray kids member Woojin will debut under a brand new sub-label of SM called "Kustomade".

Woojin debuted with Stray Kids in 2017, but left the group and company in 2019 due to "personal circumstances". It's pretty well known he was actually kicked out of the group and company.

Woojin was facing a lot of serious allegations at the time including bar hopping (something that is apparently a big "no" in JYP, especially among trainee's/new artists), going out to bars during the virus outbreak, and SA-ing someone at one of the bars.

Woojin then put out a statement to refute the SA accusations, and released a documentary about SA with his new company at the time which faced a lot of backlash due to the documentary not taking the topic too seriously and mocking people who were SA-ed.

I would also like to note his SA allegations were never actually proven to be entirely false either. After investigating people were able to find out who made the allegations and some things were proven false, but they were not actually able to fully prove 100% the SA never happened.

Additionally, over the years fans have observed there has been a lot of bad blood between the Stray Kids members and Woojin over his departure and actions:

- Woojin getting kicked out resulted in the member's comeback having to be delayed due to them having to re-record the entire album, film the MV again, and redo the choreography.

- The group's leader, Chan, had to go on VLive to talk about how the group is now 8, not 9, and said how disappointed he was in Woojin.

- Felix made a passive aggressive caption on instagram to the fans saying "#stay#8#growup"

- Woojin tends to be indirectly make passive aggressive comments back towards stray kids, and also has a tendency to make big announcements on special dates related to Stray Kids.

- The members of Stray Kids in general over the years has made a lot of passive aggressive comments here and there talking about betrayal and being stabbed in the back. It's also been implied Woojin had a long habit of whatever the bad behavior was that got him kicked out.

We will never know the full truth, but a LOT more drama seemed to have went on behind the scenes between everyone that we don't know of.

There has been no further announcements about when his debut will take place yet.

He won't be on that label roster for long if there's enough backlash. They'll drop him faster than a hot potato.
