As the title says, SM just announced that former RIIZE member Seunghan will be making his solo debut. He’s expected to debut in the 2nd half of 2025:

Idk how I feel about this.

SM's recent method of moving someone to solo has been interesting and a bit odd? Also, the fans just wanted him back in the group. I'd imagine that he probably is not interested in rejoining, but I'm curious about what will be changed to protect him and the group?

One of his team members even made a post about wanting him back in the group before he got kicked out, so I don't quite think he wouldn't be interested in rejoining? I think SM's just being a coward and won't let him rejoin to appease the Korean fans who sent those illegal 1,000+ death wreaths...

Debuting him solo is probably the only other option they could do. He is signed under a contract with SM so they HAVE to do something with him, and since they won't put him back in the group he would need to debut solo or as an actor, or SM would have to pay him to end their contract early.

I feel kind of sad about this. International fans fought for so long to keep him back in the group, they were even planning a protest for when RIIZE performs at that award ceremony in LA (I feel like they're probably still going to protest tbh).

I feel a little better about Seunghan debuting because he at least has talent and they probably are more inclined to debut him solo more willingly

No offense to Lucas, but he's called Dozen for a reason and with how rich his dad I feel like everyone kind of knew his solo debut was partially because his family probably paid/bribed for it. If Lucas's family wasn't rich and investing money into SM I do wonder if he would have debuted solo.

was hoping he'd be able to leave that shithole and debuting somewhere else but alas.

I hope they put actual effort into promoting him
