GAME+ [Game Finished] The Perfect Gift

The best gifts come from the heart–well, and sometimes from Amazon, too.

In this game, you will be “shopping” for gifts on Amazon for three pre-selected individuals. These are real people and their profiles are posted in the second post of this thread.

You have a virtual budget of 150 USD in total (excluding shipping and taxes) to spend on gifts for ALL three of them.

Please note, you will not actually be buying anything. This is just a game and your objective is mainly to attempt to select suitable gifts for the given individuals based on their profiles.

The game is divided into two phases: the submission phase and the judging phase.

Submission Phase

You have 48 hours to submit your entries. This phase starts right now, as of the creation of this thread, and will last until 10 AM EST on Thursday.

Entries are to be submitted to me (@Stannie) via PM. Please title the subject line of your PM as follows: The Perfect Gift Submission - [Your Username].

You may only use Amazon.com to shop for gifts. Please add the items you think fit the profiles of the three individuals into their respective carts.

As there are 3 different people, you will need to make 3 separate carts. Again, DO NOT actually purchase anything.

Once you are satisfied with your carts, you need to take a screenshot of each and send them to me via PM.

Prices and item names should be clearly visible. Please crop out any personal information.

Please specify the “name” of the user whom you made the cart for above the respective screenshot.

You also need to provide an explanation as to why you selected the gifts above each screenshot.

Explanation: I selected earphones because she said she loves music. I put the pokemon game because she is 16 and is a gamer. She said she likes seventeen so I included their recent album.

Then do the same for the other two individuals.

Judging Phase

Each of your 3 carts will be judged on a scale of 1-10 by the respective individuals based on factors such as creativity, suitability, and personal preferences.

The judges will have 24 hours to submit their scores.

The players with the highest combined score win the game.

If there is a tie, the user who managed to spend less on their gifts wins the tie-breaker.

Please have good sportsmanship and do not cheat; this includes, but is not limited to, colluding with other users and/or playing against your win conditions.

You are free to discuss your ideas with other users in the gameplay thread, but please absolutely do not hint at your identity in your final submissions until the results are out.

Please DO NOT speculate the identity of the judges. They are free to reveal themselves after the game but can choose to stay anonymous if they wish.

The total cost of all 3 of your carts (excluding shipping and taxes) MAY NOT exceed 150 USD. You will receive a 1-point deduction for every dollar spent above budget.

Each cart must have an explanation. 5 points will be deducted from your total score for every missing explanation.

DO NOT include anything of mature content in your cart!

One submission per user.

Your first submission is final.

3rd place - 500 Frozen Tears, 1.5 Orbs, 65k Coins, 10 Elite Gamer Points.
Participation - 200 Frozen Tears, 80k Coins, and 5 Elite Gamer Points.

You only have a total of $150 to use on gifts for all three individuals. There's no limit on the # of items per cart/person (up to you to decide) as long as each person receives at least 1 gift/item
