So Happyface (Dreamcatcher label) have posted on their channel for the first time in a year with a new trainee. Anyone heard anything about them prepping a new GG ?

No new about HF's NGG but with Sian and Seohyun that's at least two trainees. I won't be surprised if they are planning to debut one in 1 or 2 years

Songsun & Hyunbin were BananaCulture trainees as seen in their last vid from Apr "19

LONG RESPONSE....

For me I agree PK, and Mystic will debut. Don't know much about Lionheart though. Purple Kiss is a 100% for me and Mystic is I'd say a 95% with PK in first half and Mystic in second half of the year. ( I actually though both would debut last year so....)

*WM Ent GG. Don't see them debuting beyond this year regardless if they get Chaeyeon back as they will still get a big push since OMG is doing so well right now. (Chance 95%). Note I expect OMG to renew their contract as well since they JUST became famous meaning the girls are now making the good money and will probably want to keep it. If Chaeyeon returns their chance goes up to 100% if they release her by say October.

If Wonyoung and Yujin are released in April 100% will Starship debut their girl group this year. If they release her later then not sure maybe 2022. Without those two I'd say chances for Starship are about 10%.

HOW Ent. (Chance 70%) See marginal amount of material on Instagram from them were they seem to have locked in their members similar to Purple Kiss but have not chosen a name or such. They have unfortunately not put out practice video's of any kind.

CJ E&M. Have anounced a new reality show. Chance of debut this year is (70%)

YGNGG (chance 40%). They don't really need it but I'm thinking debut this year late or more likely next year as they tend to separate their debuts quite a bit. (iKON and WINNER excepted). Obviously no new BG.

SM. No new KPOP groups. I think they will make a new NCT unit though. They have speculated about it and kind of said they will but it won't be a KPOP group but a NCT Japan group like NiziU from JYP so not sure if they can be counted as most don't count JYP's NiziU or Boy Story. Though because it is a branch of NCT which is a KPOP group they may sort of since WayV is semi considered KPOP.

JYP debuts. Don't see anything that list likely for KPOP. Chance is probably around 5% they will debut a BG and 1% they will debut a GG. I think that won't happen until 2022 with speculation all over the place from an American or Chinese or Japanese BG debuting. In all the cases though they won't be considered KPOP. I think the next group we get from them is the colab with PNation at the beggining of around 2022 but with the hype and such happening in 2021 so there will be speculation in 2021 but it won't actually happen until 2022. Too many unknowns but something is a foot as Sherlock Holms says.

BH debuts. I think they will debut a GG through their Source Music subsidiary this year. (chance 80%). They publisized this first through their audition program before their I-LAND anouncements and I don't think BH which is in the drivers seat for both groups would want to have two groups coming out in the same year. So Source Music this year and I-LAND one next year. No BG from them this year.

ATeam girls are still ongoing too. Don't know if they'll come out this year but they're still there.

YueHua did tease their trainees which might be waiting post izone too.

Long time no news from Stardium girls (formerly CNC girls). I was really looking forward to them. They were a good team.

Does anyone knows what happened to Eunyoung (ex Idol School & PD48) ? Does Stone Music Ent. still have any trainees ?

There's also YOURS, I don't think we talked about them in this thread (?). They're under DeepStudio Ent. and they have an entire predebut project around them to form the new gg. I like them, they're really active on Youtube and are good at building a fandom but the fact that they need 7 members to get 1M votes to debut worries me, it's a lot and I wonder if they will really end up debuting someday.

Sumin left a while ago. The current line up is Miyu, Sua, Tsuki, Siyoon, Haram and Suhyun
