The Act protects the inheritance or pension of those who have passed from being collected by parents who have failed their parental duties.
Before in korea an unmarried person who has passed inheritance went straight to the parent regardless if they raised them or not.
Apparently because the mother filed before this was in place she still has a chance but this protects so many other families.
The Act passed December 1st
