I'd be disgusted tbh, like I could never understand someone being attracted to someone young enough to be their child...

I know it's selfish of me, but I wish for my parents to stay together. Even just thinking about them getting another partner makes me incredibly angry... More so if they turn out to be my age :( I don't know why I feel that way? Because I should wish for them to pursue happiness.

It's not a problem though, there are no issues between my parents, but it's been a thought of mine. I think about useless things all the time lmao

Well, I'm just barely above the age of consent here so if one of my parents were dating someone younger, there would be a problem not just morally but legally too

Um
My mom is Medicare age and I'm in my 20s so I'd be worried it'd be some crook trying to take advantage of her in her old age
Also if she went along with it I'd assume she was really losing it and dementia is setting in

Weirded out and grossed out. I don't think I would ever accept it. And knowing me and my temper I would snap at everyone involved.

"None of my business" - that's literally your parent though. If I care about someone or an issue I will speak up when I believe it isn't right. My business or not.

That said, I guess the example assumed the parents have divorced? I would still tell them off that it's wrong. I wouldn't be able to look at them the same way.

Extremely disturbed. I can never imagine my parents separating, let alone dating.

This scenario is giving me PTSD flashbacks, so I won't get into the painful details other than to say it was a horrible, stressful period in my life that I had to endure, and in the end it wasn't a "happily ever after". The end.
