Huang Zitao (Ex-Exo) starts sanitary pad company

I wasn't sure if I should label this post sensitive content because i'm talking about period products? But we're for the most part all adults here so we should be mature enough to talk about all of this

Huang Zitao has announced that he is in the process of starting his own sanitary pad company and his wife has already been testing samples!

Recently it has been exposed just how terribly made most sanitary pads in China are. In a recent exposé it was revealed how companies would repackage and resell flawed pad materials and sell them in fake packaging, making people think they were buying name brand ones (counterfeits).

(This honestly surprised me a bit because I was always told sanitary pads in Asia were supposed to be better quality and softer? The only complaint i've ever heard from foreigners in China about the sanitary pads was how a lot of them has that peppermint/menthol stuff on them which can burn )

In response to this, Huang Zitao expressed how disgusting this was and revealed how he has already been working on entering the sanitary pad market himself. His wife is already testing samples and he is working out the minor flaws, he asks for everyone to please give him some more time to perfect things before he can release him.

He is heavily prioritizing quality and safety of the products and his end goal is to have his company be fully transparent in their work where the public can fully see every step of the process 24/7.

I was never really into EXO so I know nothing about this guy, but i'm honestly really moved that this guy loves/respects woman and his wife so much that he's personally inventing better period products for them. That's true love and a man who truly cares about women's issues.

In China at least I trust he will make them affordable and accessible.

I feel your pain about the sales though. I can only really buy 1-2 brands that’s only sold at like 1 store so I’m stuck watching the sales every week and bulk buying when I can

Post-Covid prices are becoming highway robbery and I feel like we’re getting more and more scandals about them being made with bad stuff every month on top of it
