BY BEEFY AND GALAXY

MONDAY:
#1- The week started off with TV news! First, we learnt that Shin Dong Yup, Red Velvet's Irene, and GOT7's Jinyoung would be hosting KBS' Gayo Daechukje, and that Hong Jin Young, Oh My Girl's Seunghee, AB6IX's Lee Daehwi, and more would be special MCs for the 2020 LNY ISAC! It was then revealed that Seventeen's Seungkwan would be a special MC for the upcoming episode of MBC's Radio Star (which will be broadcast on December 18th). Last but not least, JTBC's 'Two Yoo Project' - Sugarman 3 has announced its competitors: girl group Lovelyz, and band Daybreak! We are looking forward to all these shows!

#2- Rookie girl group Hinapia has revealed their official fandom name, UBY [ 유비 ], and their official color, Red Dahlia! What are your thoughts on these choices?

#3- Got7's Youngjae once again begged saseaengs to stop calling and texting him. The idol has, in the past, been vocal about this problem -- but to seemingly no avail, as he has once again addressed it on an Instagram post. All idols deserve their privacy, and we hope JYPE will take action against saseangs.

#4- Due to "internal circumstances", girl group Rendezvous will, unfortunately, not be making their debut. Their company has decided to focus on promoting member Seulgi as a soloist instead. We wish her, and her former groupmates, all the best in their future endeavors.

#5- After the revelations made on 'Produce 101', police have continued their investigation on vote rigging for MNET's show "Idol School' - discovering that high ranking officials are potentially involved. In the meantime, channel officials are still focusing on the 'Produce' series, and
have addressed manipulation reports in a new statement made on Saturday. How do you feel about this case?

TUESDAY:
#1- Fans of Momoland, it's finally time to rejoice: on Tuesday, we learnt that the girls would be making their first comeback as a six-member group with a digital single at the end of December. Two days later, it was announced that the release would actually be a single album, titled "Thumbs Up", dropping on December 30!
While we are very excited to seeing them on stage again, we haven't forgotten their former members - and are glad to see that Yeonwoo has opened an official fancafe!

#2- Another group is planning to make a comeback soon: XSPORTNEWS shared that
BTS is currently working on a new album, which should be released in mid-February! They also reported this may be the boys' last album before military enlistment, but BigHit has yet to confirm anything. Either way, we are looking forward to their release!

#3- Girl group Busters has announced the addition of a new member, Jeon Jieun, a former child actress, born in 2005! Let's welcome her with open arms and wish the group all the best!

#4- GFRIEND has announced that they would be holding their third fanmeeting, 'Dear.Buddy - Make a Wish,' on January 18th, 2020! We are envious of the lucky fans who will be able to attend!

#5- Former JYP trainee and Produce X 101 contestant Yoon Seobin, has signed an exclusive contract with Sublime Artist Agency. He will be joining the likes of EXID's Hani, T-ara's Hyomin, and PRISTIN / I.O.I's Lim Nayoung! We are curious to see what his first activities will be!

#6- Carats and L.O.Λ.E, take note: Pledis Entertainment has announced that Seventeen and Nu'est will no longer be receiving fan gifts. But, do not worry: you will still be able to send handwritten letters to both groups! How do you feel about this decision?

WEDNESDAY:
#1- On Wednesday, Kpop fans were shocked to see that Buster's Chaeyeon, who is only 15 years old, was hit by another cast member during the recording of children's show 'Boni Hani'. In return, EBS' president posted a formal apology about the situation on Saturday, and the two comedians involved in the event have been suspended. Do you think the situation was handled properly?

#2- Produce 101 Japan has come to an end! The members of the new group JO1 in order of rank are: Mamehara Issei, Kawashiri Ren, Kawanishi Takumi, Ohira Shosei, Tsurubo Shion, Shiroiwa Ruki, Sato Keigo, Kimata Shoya, Kono Junki, Kinjo Sukai, and Yonashiro Sho. Did your pick make it?

#3- Two upcoming songs were announced on Wednesday! First, you can anticipate soloist Punch's new digital single, which will drop on December 17th. The very next day, on December 18th, it'll be Vinxen and Haon's turn: they'll be releasing their collaboration track!

#4- If you're already looking forward to January releases, mark your calendars: NCT Dream will be releasing a performance commemorative album in Japan! However, 'The Dream' will only contain new versions of the group's most famous songs, and all of them will be sung in Korean...

#5- The lineup of 2020 KPOP Super Concert in Hanoi has been revealed! EXO-SC, NCT 127, SHINee's Taemin, ELRIs, AlphaBAT and A.C.E will all be performing on January 11th. Will you have the chance to attend the event?

#6- Kim Soo Hyun will reportedly leave KeyEast after his contract expires in late December. The actor will be starting an agency with his cousin, director Lee Sa Rang. According to reputable news outlets, Kim Sae Ron and Ye Ji will reportedly be joining this new agency! The pair are reportedly in the final stages of negotiations. Two days before, we had also learnt that Ye Ji will star in the upcoming drama 'Psycho But It's Okay', alongside Soo Hyun. We are very excited to see them work together!

#7- Speaking of acting, Kim Myungsoo or Infinite's L and Shin Ye Eun have been confirmed as cast members for the upcoming KBS rom-com drama, 'Welcome'! It will be broadcast in March of 2020. Will you be tuning in?

#8- For the past three years, Kang Daniels' fans have given money to various organizations and planned donation relays on his birthday. This year, fans have been especially charitable, donating a net amount of around 500 million won, a fivefold increase from previous years. We are extremely happy to see his fans doing such amazing work!

THURSDAY:
#1- Thursday was a busy day for SM stans. First, it was announced that Red Velvet would be making their comeback on December 23rd with a repackaged album titled "The ReVe Festival - Finale"! It will contain twelve songs from their previous "ReVe Festival" albums, along with four new ones (sixteen tracks total). The company also revealed that Super Junior's Heechul and Lee Soo Geun would be releasing the song 'White Winter' for "SM Station X 4 Loves for Winter"! The video, featuring rookie girl group ITZY, dropped just a few hours ago!

#2- Melomance's Kim Minseok enlisted in the military on Thursday morning! After the mandatory training period, the idol will serve as a conscripted policeman. We wish him the best, and hope he serves safely!

#3- MNET's 'I Can See Your Voice' will be returning for a seventh season on January 17th of 2020! Kim Jong Kook, Yoo Se Yoon, and Super Junior's Leeteuk will return as the show's MCs. We are looking forward to watching the new episodes!

#4- ZICO announced his second solo concert, 'King of the Zungle'! Two shows are scheduled for the 22nd and 23rd of February. Are you excited for the event?

#5- Good news for fans of Japanese music: L' Arc~en~ciel has uploaded all their music videos to Youtube, and made their entire discography available for streaming! We bet you are really glad to have easier access to their releases!

#6- We finish the day on a sad note: WJSN's Dawon has been diagnosed with an anxiety disorder, and the group will temporarily promote as nine. We hope the she gets plenty of time to rest and get better!

FRIDAY:
#1- Friday started with a bad news for Cherry Bullet fans: unfortunately, Mirae, Kokoro, and Linlin have terminated their contracts with FNC, which means that the group will now be promoting with seven members. This may be a sad parting of ways, but we wish them the best in their future endeavors.

#2- Maroo Entertainment has also been speculated to have terminated a few contracts, with the Khan members' profile page missing from Maroo Entertainment's official website. It's very saddening news, and we wish the best for the girls.

#3- The 2020 LNY ISAC has released the list of its participating groups! Many have been named, so check out the linked thread to see if your favorite group will be filming for the show!

#4- The 34th Golden Disk Awards have announced their MCs: Sung Ki Kyung and Lee Da Hee for the first day, and Lee Seung Gi and Park So Dam for the second! We are looking forward to the award show even more!

#5- AOA's Seolhyun and Jimin will join MBC's 'Point of Omniscient Interfere' with their manager! We bet their presence will make the show even more entertaining!

SATURDAY:
#1- R&B duo As One released a special twenty-year anniversary single on December 15th, which was produced by AB6IX's Daewhi! Have you given the song a listen yet?

#2- On Thursday, Stone Music Entertainment dropped a mysterious trailer, titled 'Guess Who?'. After days of theorising by fans, it was revealed on Saturday to be a teaser for VERIVERY's impending comeback! In a second video, 'Guess Who?....It's VERIVERY', the group shows off what seems to be a darker concept! Are you excited for this release?

SUNDAY:
#1- (G)I-DLE Miyeon's unintentionally leaked some very interesting information on V-Live! Reading off of a whiteboard in the background, fans were able to see that (G)-IDLE and CLC are slated to have comebacks in January and March respectively, with CLC getting a full album! The video has since been deleted... but nonetheless, we thank Miyeon for these revelations!

#2- It was also announced on Sunday that AKB48 will perform 'Koisuru Fortune Cookie' at the 70th NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen, with members from their overseas sister groups... including DEL48, which has yet to debut! We'll finally be able to see more of them, and we're anticipating the performance a lot!

#3- Sadly, we finish this news recap with unfortunate news, as JYP announced a few hours ago that
Stray Kids' Han is currently suffering from symptoms of intermittent psychological stability. The condition likely won't impact the idol's schedules in the near future, but he feels uncomfortable when surrounded by too many people and will continue to receive treatment. We hope Han gets better very soon.

#1- BOA - FT. CRUSH - STARRY NIGHT
For her second mini album, "Starry Night", and its title track, kpop diva BoA has endowed us with some serious holiday vibes. The combination of her voice with that of Crush makes for a mesmerizing blend in this city pop-ballad fusion piece. In keeping with the ambience of the song, the music video shows snippets of city life in the season of joy. Make sure to give this song a listen, and let the magic begin!

#2- STRAY KIDS - LEVANTER
Stray Kids concluded their "Clé" album series with the "Clé: Levanter" mini album release. Its lead single, "Levanter" is a sleek, melodic dance track with a cinematic music video -- a perfect conclusion to Clé series. Give this song a chance and see how Stray Kids fulfilled their search for their identities!

#3- AILEE - SWEATER
Would our winter even be complete without Ailee? She made sure we didn't miss her, warming us up with her single "Sweater". Ailee's golden vocals, complimeted by beautiful instrumentals, brighten up our holiday season in this powerful ballad. Make sure to cozy up with her song this winter!

#4- NCT U - COMING HOME
Gather, all fans of NCT U! We haven't seen this unit of NCT in a long time, but December is the month of blessings, and the boys blessed us with "Coming Home", a single for Station X. This iteration of the unit consists of the main vocalists Taeil, Jaehyun, Haechan, and Doyoung, delivering a beautiful Christmas message to their fans, in the form of a soulful and heartfelt ballad. Make sure to give this song a listen and enjoy NCT's vocals gems!

#5- KIM JAEHWAN - THE TIME I NEED
Wanna One ex-member, Jaehwan, released his second solo mini album, "Moment" on Friday. Its lead single "The Time I Need" explores the 'passage of time' as a concept, questioning if he is making the most his days. The beautiful scenarios in the music video match the song's theme, recreating the rhythmic ticking of a clock. Let Jaehwan's melodious voice take you on a journey through time!

#6- CL - +PARADOX171115+ & +I QUIT180327+
CL is continuing her "In The Name Of Love" series with two new singles! This week, the idol released "+PARADOX171115+" and "+I QUIT180327+". While both are accounts of her personal experiences, "PARADOX171115" and "I QUIT180327" have different feelings to them. The first one is more upbeat with a colorful MV, while the second one has a calmer sound with a retro karaoke-like video. Give a listen to both releases, and try to pick your favourite -- we here couldn't choose!

#7- THE RAMPAGE FROM EXILE TRIBE - FULLMETAL TRIGGER
The Boys of 'The Rampage' from Exile Tribe released their lead single from the upcoming "Fullmetal Trigger". The powerful track is set to an EDM rhythm, and has been paired with a fast paced choreography. Listen to this song for a more energetic Winter!

#8- PARK BOM & DARA - THE FIRST SNOW
It looks like this week belongs to 2NE1! Along with CL's songs, Park Bom and Dara joined have joined forces for "The First Snow", released on Tuesday. Their voices create a perfectly sweet and emotional mood, perfect for Winter. If you missed Park Bom and Dara together as much as we did, you can't miss out on this song!

#9- CAMELLIA FACTORY - I WANT TO BE HUGGED
With almost a year having passed since their last single, Camellia Factory, better known as Tsubaki Factory, are expected to come back early this January with their 6th single album. The first of its lead singles, "I Want To Be Hugged" was released a few days ago. Judging by this song's addictive chorus and cheerful melody, the album is going to be a real treat. Don't forget to listen to the song to get prepared for the girls' comeback!

#10- BAEK YERIN - POPO (HOW DEEP IS OUR LOVE?) & 0310
For her debut under the new label, Blue Vinyl, Baek Yerin released her first full album "Every Letter I Sent You" with three lead singles, "Square", "POPO (How Deep Is Our Love?)" and "0310". Each represent Yerin's growth as a musician— the songs, while different, form a cohesive trio with their blues-y sound. While in "POPO (How Deep Is Our Love?)" she sings about loneliness in a nostalgic tone, "0310" expresses subtle anger about a bad relationship. Do give a listen to all of them and see how Yerin looks in a new stage of her career!
