That's amazing at this pace they could easily be a 4m seller by the end of the contract, which would be insane if the extended it.

Well done Wiz and IzOne.

i'm more surprised to know there's 57 million sellers k-pop groups
Yeah tell me about it. This gen who have passed it? Twice, Iz*One, Red Velvet, Exo, W1, 17, Got7, NCT, BTS?

I think a lot will be BG's and people maybe in the early years when YT, MelOn, etc weren't a big thing and CD's still ruled the market.

But this is really good cos I think since before 2nd gen(so 04-05 ish) only GG's to pass 1 million are

Twice
Girls Generation
Kara
Red Velvet

and now Iz*One. Sorry if I missed anyone, but I can't think of anyone else to do it and even the groups I can think of aren't even that close to it yet. Which is all the more impressive since I'm not sure if Iz*one are even 1 year old yet.

sure it's a huge feat for izone, they'll be a year old next month i think? that's really impressive
but still 57 groups came as a surprise to me lol i'm considering OP really is excluding non-idol groups. the industry was smaller than it is now
