I don't really see another JYPNGG debuting until at least 2022, maybe even later. Twice debuted more than 5 yrs after Miss A. Itzy debuted slight less than 4 years after Twice.

But that's assuming Lily will debut in a group, and not go solo.

When they announced the co-managed actors with NPIO, Park Sieun wasn't listed as one of the ones that joined. However JYP Actors still tweets about her projects. She might still be an idol actor trainee signed to JYPE.

I don't really see another JYPNGG debuting until at least 2022, maybe even later. Twice debuted more than 5 yrs after Miss A. Itzy debuted slight less than 4 years after Twice.

But that's assuming Lily will debut in a group, and not go solo.

Others have spoken on the subject also but I think it makes sense for JYPE to launch their next large (7+ member) girl group in 2021. Twice members even if all of them renew their contracts in 2022 will likely be tired of the grind and want to scale back group activity. They could pursue solo/subunit/passion projects instead. JYPE won't want to create a NGG vacuum for a produce group or SMNGG to fill.

For me, I think it would depend on how much Twice decides to mature their sound and stay away from the traditional color pop they're famous for. If Twice went all Fancy/Breakthrough, then it's true that there's no JYP GG to take over the color-pop sound from Twice. But I'm just a little worried about JYPE managing 3 very active GGs. Twice scaling back their activity when they're usually super active still means they'll be busier than most other GGs though. The way Itzy seems to be following Twice's growth path, JYPE better start prepping those resources.

The best time for JYP to debut their NGG is by April 2021 when IZ*ONE disbands. By that time Twice will be cutting off some SK activities and comebacks. Twice might be focusing more on Japan like TVXQ and doing concert tours worldwide.

This JYPNGG will be facing stiff competition from SMNGG, BHNGG, MNETNGG or YGNGG, if there is any. JYP must carefully select the members of the group and promote them extensively. Twice and ITZY reputation per se will lift this group apart from their competition.
