StanDecember 24, KONNECT Entertainment said, “Kang Daniel donated 30 million won (approximately $25,800) to the social welfare organization ‘Snail of Love’ for the hearing impaired.” Snail of Love provides cochlear implants and hearing aids to those in need and helps those who regain some hearing to adapt to the change and integrate into society.
The donation was made under the name of Kang Daniel’s fandom, DANITY.
In addition, KONNECT Entertainment, in response to Kang Daniel’s wishes “to help everyone spend a warm winter,” donated 31,000 briquettes to Korea’s Coal Bank, which provides those in need with free coal briquettes.
KONNECT Entertainment said, “After hearing that the members of his fan club extended a helping hand to those in need for Kang Daniel’s birthday, he also made a donation before Christmas.”
